Ruchi Diagnostic Clinic - Diagnostic center in Gangtok - East District, India

Ruchi Diagnostic Clinic offers good facilities, and it's advisable to call ahead before visiting to get detailed information. The services might be slightly expensive, but during my visit to the paediatrics section, I was pleased to find the vaccine readily available. Overall, I had a positive experience at the clinic.

Its probably the nearest and most conveniently located diagnostic center in the main town. However the cost for tests and doctor appointments are quite high. Also it's quite dirty and congested given that one visits such places when one is ill. Hence extra care should be taken to make sure the facility is clean and sanitized. I felt queasy and even sick waiting my turn sitting on the grimey chairs and dirty floors. But there isn't much option so we have to come here.

Too bad experience! I had done few tests there yet I couldn't manage to see the doctor. Here you have to come early in the morning to talk about late afternoon appointment with doctor or else you may come tomorrow. Like what is the use of paying to them if we don't get good facilities to atleast see a doctor in time it's better to go to any government hospital and accordingly your turn will come.Last time we waited from 11;00 a.m to 3;00 PM and yet our turn had not come so we just went and see another doc . Dissatisfied with the people who are at the reception, they don't help us clearly and just answer quickly and later will say oh you should have entered name in the morning or like you should come very early to make it. You cannot tolerate this when you are paying. Don't make Health a business..it's because we need and we cannot prevent sickness sometimes so we come to you, the government hospital services are late so we pay and come to you but this is just unacceptable .We are like spending whole day waiting.

Very bad customer service, the front desk people were unable to provide me with a cost estimate of a list of tests I wanted to do. First they didn't respond to my mail, and then when I called them up they started hanging up my calls and then not receiving it altogether. The services here and the doctors are no doubt very good, but without a decent customer service and with such unprofessional staff it negates all the hardwork done by the managers, the doctors and the lab staff.

Had a very good experience visiting Ruchi Diagnostics Centre in Gangtok, Sikkim. Very cordial and well-managed staff. Had to do some pathology tests for my mother, and visiting Ruchi Diagnostics helped me a lot, as I could get my mother`s report online as they register the mobile no. with the test they perform and an SMS prompts you that the reports are ready and you can download them just by clicking the link that follows. Thanks to Mr Madan Chettri of Ruchi Diagnostics Centre whom I met and who guided me to get the know-how of how I can get the reports online. He happens to be a Pathologist and a very down-to-earth and helpful person. I believe this is the only Diagnostics Centre in Gangtok where the reports can be downloaded online. As I was travelling and could get the reports online, it was very helpful to me. Thanks to the management and staff members of Ruchi Diagnostics Centre. I am very happy with their service and very satisfied. I am happily giving 5 stars to the Management and Staff members for their good service and innovative thinking to reach up to the need of people.

Abysmal services.. pls remove the guy who is attending customer calls. He takes zero responsibility and does not care for customer enquries. He stopped even picking calls.. Pls provide contact no. of owner or alternate contacts if ur administration is so unreliable. Such business should shut and open opportunities for people actually willing to provide genuine services.

The only reason why I am rating your clinic one star is because of the lack of professionalism from you management staff. Ruchi is regarded as one of the best diagnostic clinic and is trusted amongst every Sikkimese but the lack of humbleness and the sheer rudeliness which some of your employee exhibit towards the patient is very disgusting. It would be nice and pleasant if your employees knew how to speak properly and politely with people who are Ill and who have come for treatement n your clinic... I would be grateful if you would kindly look into that matter a small gesture and politeness is much appreciated...

I wish u understood the idea of how u do business/ interact with customers reflects ur true character as a firm and individual.. i am sorry to say that u r going to loose business and soon this place is going to close down. Better late than never..
