Royal Vega - Vegetarian restaurant in Chennai - Chennai, India

Visited for our Wedding Anniversary @Royal Vega @ITC Grand Chola ,Chennai on November 9 th 2021. Those who really want to experience the Royal Experience must visit here . This is simply not a restaurent,this is a "Palatial Place ". Highly TOP-NOTCH , LUXURIOUS , ROYAL,OPULENT, STUNNING ,RICH , PALATIAL etc. They have 3 set of Menus ( North Indian ,South Indian and Season al Offerings).It is a % Vegetarian Restaurant. They served the food items in Silver Platters and Silver Katories and that was what we wanted. The Welcome treatment and Ambience was extremely Royal and Rich. As it was our Wedding Anniversary ,the Royal Vega team decorated our table with Rose Petals.The Restaurant itself was very much Posh ,Amazing , Fantastic, Ultra Luxurious and High Class. We ordered both South Indian and North Indian and the food was very good , authentic, traditional with natural flavours. Quantity of food was enough and more. After our food ,they had arranged a complimentary cake also. We really had extremely Royal Experience at Royal Vega .Many Thanks to Royal Vega team especially Rohit Sir @ITC GRAND CHOLA,CHENNAI for making our Wedding Anniversary Grand ,Wonderful ,Memorable, Royal, Superb ,Georgeous,and Amazing . Highly recommend this Royal Restaurant.

Delicious food served with great varieties.. Loved the way the food is being arranged and served. A great and a happy meal. As the name the place looks Royal and great. The food is completely vegetarian .we ordered all the 3 varieties of meals and 1 south Indian and the other 2 are North Indian kind of Thalis.. Which has Gujarati and Punjabi food . It got lot to eat which would be great if u go with a hungry stomach.. And the atmosphere is very elegant and graceful Can visit once but the prices are more than the mark as it is a star hotel

The restaurant is located in ITC Grand Chola. We are vegetarians and my sister saw the promotion video on YouTube and we decided to try it for dinner. They have three set menus, one based on South Indian cuisine, another on North Indian cuisine and the third for seasonal offerings. The food is served in a silver platter and silver katories. The ambience is great and the food tasty. The service is also nice. While the experience is pleasant, it did not match the one at Firaus in Hyderabad in respect of food or service.

One if it's kind restaurant in Chola. It's a 100% vegetarian and superb service, plus a royal ambience. They cook food live for every meal combination and super flexible for allergies and preferences. The food is on spicy side a bit. Must try is rasam and jackfruit item. Staff is very courteous, happy and accommodating. Must visit for vegetarians and vegans.

My wife and I dined at Royal Vega on 10th June 2023. We had Ranjit Khasa. Royal and scrumptious food, can't say one best item as every single item was a treat on the palate and eyes. To name the highlights, the anardaana raita and madhura tikkia tops the chart. As it was our wedding anniversary, Karuna, the restaurant manager, did little surprises in terms customized cakes and photo frame. Overall, this luxury dining is one of it's kind and we will come back to try the other menu as well.

We had been here for our wedding anniversary....we opted for Ranjith khasa...which was north Indian thali..i was shocked by the number of items on the menu ... They didn't even serve a soup or a buttermilk....the menu was neither flattering...the usual paneer butter masala...khadi... But presented well...no kulcha or naans for bread...but a hard tandoori roti and khasta roti ..we didn't even eat it .. it was Fully wasted... nothing to choose from... literally no choice...u just eat what they serve you... And if u ask for a second serve .. he is so reluctant to do it.... Trust me ..places like hamsa silver private dining or annalakshmi would have been a better option for the same Ambience and great line of menu ... Hardly any items and we felt like wat did we even eat.... Just a over hyped restaurant.... nothing flattering or wow... totally disappointed ...at the end no ice cream also

Where do I even begin? The stunning and opulent ambience, or the fantastic vegetarian spread? We were floored by the quality of the food, the four of us chose different thalis, and were all equally thrilled. All the veggies and cereals are grown in their own farms, meaning they mean vegetarian and organic, when they say it. The only improvements I can suggest is to inform people what to expect, they serve a lot of food all at once, which is both overwhelming and prevents you from enjoying the combinations as you're supposed. None the less, highly recommended!
