Room and facilities are good. For Non AC rooms, lift is not available and mosquito will be an issue at night. For AC rooms, its good over all. My only concern was that the room service is not available from 6:30 AM as written in brochure which is kept in the room. Little things will pile up for people sometimes. If you're okay ignore them and just deal with it as it comes staying here will be a good experience. I could see wear and tear on curtains and blankets for example. The towels too showed signs of wear and tear from too much washing. They were a bit rough but not an issue for me. The breakfast buffet is a decent spread although it could be made a bit more better by including things like croissants and cakes. Also having the buffet in the downstairs restaurant which is originally the bar givens an overall dark tone. It'd be a good idea to liven up the place a bit more with lights in the morning hours and a little less music. The staff were all courteous and responsive. Like I said, you might find small issues but you can just call the staff and get it taken care of. The location is fine although I was a bit concerned about the parking space. But then I guess it is what it is considering how difficult it is to have a such ample space at the busy areas of cochin.

Wonderful place..Staff were polite and very much concerned with the well being of guests..Got a Free Upgrade to Suite Room due to AC malfunction..Did not charge a penny extra..Their Rocks and Brews Pub also was too good..Much appreciated..5/5

Rooms are well spacios compared to many other similar hotels nearby, but poorly cleaned and maintained. The breakfast is also very minimal spread and taste for Rs.200/-. Compared to nearby hotels of this similar range, this needs to be improved.

I gave that one extra star only for the infrastructure. The rest all is not worth it. Service is the worst. Unresponsive staff. Items in breakfast are very limited. The restaurant itself is a bar and is not meant to be a restaurant. Maintenance is poor. The AC on my room was making a noise. That's because the filters were not cleaned in a long time and it resulted in ice being formed inside the AC and the fan hitting the ice made loud bangs. When complained they took 24 whole hours to just clean the filters. That was after I came back after a long day and asked them again. Their answer for why they did not do anything during the day was that they cannot enter the room without the guess being present. The towels, bedsheets and curtains are heavily worn out. One of the towels was literally falling apart thread by thread. The bedsheets were torn and stitched up to cover but they couldn't do anything for the stains and colour change. I would not prefer this hotel again but the main reason is that it is very far from my destination.

You have to wait for an eternity for the waiter to deliver the food items you ordered. Ambience was good before, now the music is too loud irritating everybody inside.

1. Royal residency - very bad , they are not even bothered about customer satisfaction, they even not provided the tea bags and other basic amenities , mmt booked the hotel without AC , even they know the hot and humid condition .

Expensive hotel. Booked 2 nights stay, unfortunately goibibo default selection was Non AC and 2 adults and Brkfst extra charged for 2 people but I travelled alone. Requested for upgrade to hotel they charged 1k extra for AC room. Brkfst only able to have one day (Very Average to normal) as my flight was morning 8.40 am. requested hotel for Sandwich preparation by 7.00 am. They denied. (Actual brk fst time start at 7.00 am when, I said I am checking out by 7.00 am they simple changed the time to 7.45 am brkfst start). Room service for drink is simply 3 times the cost. 175 to 500/- Until I denied to pay they wanted me to pay extra price for second day water bottle.(Genuinely I should get 2 bottles for 2 nights). Food is very Average with price ok.(Ordered veg snack). unless you ask for shaving kit they won't provide. over all this hotel is very expensive. if you want to spend extra in a normal hotel you can book this hotel. wifi signal was not available for all rooms.Very poor signal. I used my mobile data for early hours meeting. only good thing is it's location.
