I am visiting this centre since 2017. But had bad experience in my last two visits. As third time, I had issues this time too and informed to manager. She asked me to revisit and will make sure everything delivered good. Seems manager joined only few weeks back and she is working towards the right process to provide permanent solutions for the problems. Due to delivery delay, happened to wait for an hour there. And able to see the response from some employees to manager is not good. It looks like lack of cooperation to the process.
Hopeless service centre. I call many times, no response/call back. I message them in watsapp, they are least bothered to reply back even after seeing the message. They get paid for being lazy without caring about after sales service. I own a meteor 350 and this is the experience within my 1st service itself.

I gave the bike for 4th free service and mentioned clearly to check the chain clean and lube.. but they didn't even touch the chain it is same like before.... Not taking the service seriously..
I took my Royal Enfield motorcycle to this service centre to servicing my bike. Unfortunately, the lady manager's response left much to be desired. Despite the service centre's apparent busyness, I approached her politely, explaining the urgency, and requested they could at least tighten the chain as I had brought the bike with a lot of difficulty and couldn't take it back home in that condition. Her response was surprisingly rude and dismissive. She asked me to leave the bike there and come and collect it after 3 days. And was telling she was working in Raj TV and is a media person for no reason. Even I am in media but I don't think someone must be using that in places like this. I believe that attendants should maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with customers, especially in emergencies. This was such a disappointing experience. Customer service should always remain a top priority, regardless of how busy a service centre may be.
After several failed attempts in finding the best service centre for RE in Chennai, I ended up with RE Service centre in Alapakkam. My earlier experiences with service centres ar Greams Road and Ikkatuthangal were the worst ones. I was quite skeptical coming here. I called the hotline of Velavan Motors and they directed me to Alapakkam. Mr. Satish Kumar attended the call and he was very cordial. I briefly told him my experience at Greams Road, I came here and they patiently listened to my grievances. It's a 12 year old Classic 350, they recommended some spares to be changed. A very thorough examination was done and Mr. Sathish have an assurance that he'll personally attend to it. Polish, tank cleaning, acceleration wire change were recommended and they did a thorough job. They delivered as promised, all staff are friendly and understands the issue well. It looks like it's a rebirth for my bike ! I would strongly recommend this service centre and ask people to approach Mr. Sathish Kumar.
Dear Management, The service center efficiently operates only because of two crucial staffs... 1. Mr. Sathish Kumar 2. Mr. Nirmal & Team Without them, this service center is merely useless. These two staffs work extra hours in fixing the mess created by the manager and other untrained staffs. Advise to Management: 1. Please answer the phone first. No one answers my call despite reaching the center multiple times for service appointment. I spoke to your management staff (Lady Manager) about this only to be ignored. Despite of multiple requests, There are no status updates to customer either leaving people in jeopardy. She was rude and doesnt help the customers at all wasting everyone's time. 2. There are no cashless insurance facility available. In the event of accident, Customer has to pay first to get the parts replaced and claim with insurance on their own. Why can't you offer cashless claims? 3. Huge delay in parts order and processing. I waited for 15 days to get a brake lever for my Classic 350 BS6. Despite the parts manufactured locally in chennai why would it take huge time? 4. Service workmanship needs improvement. Train your staffs better to fix everything in the first attempt itself. My bike was left unattended for 15 days in your service center. There was absolutely no support from your lady manager. Thanks to Mr.Sathish Kumar and Mr. Nirmal who intervened and helped the job to completion. The bike would never got delivered otherwise. Hope you would take corrective actions. Recently I took my Thunder bird TN10 AV1913 for some issues. It was very well attended by a technician named Praveen and especially the in charge of that service center Miss Geetha ( later I came to know) she is doing a wonderful job and the way she handles the customers.... Wow... Very humble and responds the customers with smile..Its really good and appreciatable.. God bless.
