It is an absolute pleasure sitting on the terrace here at night. You get to see the fateh prakash. And almost all of the udaipur from above. The food is good. We also were welcomed with live music.n

Located within chunda palace. Great location. Good food. Good staff. Very enjoyable. They also offer candle light dinners. You have to register prior in time. Always better to do that a day prior..

View is great form the roof top restaurant and have nice ambiance. Services are really good and quick, staff is polite and will customize your food as needed and they replaced for us without any issues. Food is decent, I would surely go to this place to enjoy ambiance and view, I had a breakfast buffet and it was average. Good to try for its view!

Make a reservation at square terrace for good views. Food was good, lal mass very well cooked and flavorful. But I the signature dish according to me is khade pyaz ki sabji, must try. Check out this restaurant for good food ans excellent views.

We visited the rooftop restaurant at the palace for dinner. Here's my very detailed review because I'm a fan now: Cons: None Pros: 1. Extremely helpful staff. They guided us with the best drinks and food we could have, based on our personal choices. 2. If you're from a metropolitan city, the price would actually be reasonable for you. 3. Impeccable food and drinks 4. We got a free tour of the palace post our dinner!! (This usually costs money, and is carried out before sunset) 5. It's right near Lake Pichola, and right beside Udaivilas so the views are absolutely mesmerising 6. Sonam was absolutely great! From suggestions, to politeness, to being a great host to us in her turf (read: the hotel), she was nothing short of amazing! Please do yourself a favor and visit this place asap!

We stayed in this hotel and so ate at the restaurant. It's open to the public and wasn't too busy but the food was okay. Perhaps not exceptional but nice. Interior surroundings could be better though and did not match the exterior of the building.

Let me first make one thing clear.... The Chunda Palace is a marvelous property with its own rich heritage.... The view from the property takes you to another level... But now lets talk about restaurant.... Firstly at 4 Star Hotel's Restaurant I was treated to a wobbly table, Then was given a plate that showcased their hygiene standard as mine was higher than there's i demanded a more cleaner plate.... We went there for a family celebration (16 Pax) & no need to say the view got our hopes high & food made that hope to jump from there to die... We ordered Kadhai Paneer, Dal Fry, Bundi Raita, Papad & Bread Basket.... After the pathetic setting I was greeted with Bundi Raita that went sour more than it was suppose to be.... The management unwillingly changed that, which came after the main course was over.... The Paneer was half cooked, the gravy was not up to the mark & for the first time ever I got to hear that a 4 star restaurant was out of fresh dal bowls so they got us soup bowl to put dal fry in it..... Bread at this point of time didn't matter most but they were at least better than the rest of food.... Attitude of waiters is not upto the mark maybe because we were locals & were not staying at their hotel.... Final Verdict Ambiance- Marvelous Food- Bad Service-Worse Value- Take a coffee & enjoy the view....

Fabulous ambience, food and service. With a visit just for the ambience. Better to go during the day for lunch or brunch, when there's ample light and fewer people.
