Great food, especially the paneer tikka and chicken tikka. The terrace is nice. The bill however has VAT of 25 percent extra added over and above GST and service charge so the actual billing is almost double of what is mentioned on the menu card. Make sure you ask what is VAT doing in their bill in this era of GST!! The ambience is good and the service is also fine. The view of Qutab minar at night with lighting is enchanting. The frequent airplanes crossing the sky between the monument and the moon keep you mesmerised.
Rooh is a must go restaurant in Mehrauli (Delhi). It's inside premium shopping campus of Ambata One and has a breathtaking view of The Qutub Minar. Night lighting of QM starts at 9 pm and it gets so beautiful. Go for Terrace sitting, it just adds so much value to the overall experience. Food - Contemporary Indian Cuisine. We ordered Potato Roastie (kind of Chat), Lamb Chop, Paneer Karaifi. While the lamb was finely cut, moderately spiced and marinated to perfection, the Paneer dish was unique because of its preparation, presentation and amazing taste. Not sure one can find this Paneer dish in most other places. A must try. Chat was good but nothing unique as there are many places for great Chat in Delhi. Our main course was Dal Bati Churma, Chicken Leg Korma, Paneer Lyonnaise, Waterchestnut raita, Butter naans. Again, the Chef's magic was at play with Chicken Korma. This is one of the best chicken gravy dishes I have tried which is rich, unique, 100% Indian and finely balanced sliced gravy. Naan goes well with it. Paneer dish was quite innovative prepration in itself and would definately prefer if I am a vegetarian but Chkn Korma shines. Dal bati was ok and raita was too runny to my taste. The cocktails were ok but not as great or unique as the food. Overall, service, order time, food and the view makes it a great place for food lovers who care about the location and view as well. It's pricier but delivers a great experience.
Amazing rooftop restaurant near Qutub Minar. If you are visiting Qutub Minar in the evening do stop over for drinks and dinner at this or other restaurant in the vicinity. This offers good Indian food with great view of Qutub Minar.
The flavors of Assam and Himachal came alive at Rooh, where they've set up a special popup called Giri (which means mountains). They've teamed up with two skilled home chefs from Delhi who specialize in Assamese and Himachali cuisine. we got a sneak peek into this delightful experience with a lavish six-course meal. The Assamese selection featured mouthwatering dishes like fish piktika, khaar on luci, black sesame chicken, and fish curry with curry leaves gravy served on sticky rice. we also got to savor some Himachali delights. Our Himachali adventure began with handmade wheat pasta, followed by the veggie delight known as bhein ki tikki. The journey continued with paangi kebab and reached its pinnacle with a tangy Pahadi lamb dish served with millets. Our taste buds were treated to irresistible desserts from both chefs - the Black rice pudding and pethe ka halwa bid us farewell in the most delectable manner, wrapping up this incredible culinary voyage through the Himalayas.
From the moment I booked a table to the delightful dining experience, the customer service at Rooh was exceptional. The staff (Mr. Deepak) was attentive, friendly, and ensured every detail was taken care of. Their dedication to providing a memorable experience was evident at every step. A true delight from start to finish! Rooh is a culinary gem! This cosmopolitan restaurant and bar not only offers gourmet dishes and craft cocktails but also boasts a mind-blowing view of the iconic Qutub Minar. The combination of delectable food and breathtaking surroundings creates an unforgettable dining experience. Impeccable service and terrace seating add to the charm. A must-visit for food enthusiasts and admirers of stunning views alike!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and it was truly a delightful experience. The food was exceptional, especially the Achari Paneer Tikka, which was a delicious treat for a vegetarian like myself. While the prices were a bit on the higher side, the amazing atmosphere and ambiance more than made up for it. I would highly recommend visiting in the evening when the rooftop opens, as it adds a whole new level of charm to the dining experience. If you're looking for a memorable culinary adventure with great ambiance, this is definitely the place to be!
At first it looked nice, Menu is short and as told, they had only Indian. Saw some foreigners kick in there after. In the end my ROOH felt, if this is the taste they(foreigners) get from India, they will never visit here again .
I visited Rooh yesterday along with my school friend. I have never been to the Qutub Area for dinner. There are multiple options available and we checked out a few options before arriving at Rooh. We reached the restaurant around 9 pm and we luckily got the seats on the terrace considering it was a weekend. Pro tip - Don't reach late otherwise it's difficult to occupy a seat on the terrace with a good view. The ambience of the restaurant was chic. The service speed was also quite commendable. We went for dinner and wanted to eat something related to Indian Cuisine and hence we chose this place. We ordered Chicken Leg Korma along with three different types of bread namely Butter Naan, Masala Missi Roti & Khamiri Roti. Coming to the taste section, Chicken Leg Korma was scrumptious in taste. After a long time, I ate such delicious Chicken based main course dish. The dish was worth every penny, hence highly recommended. Out of the breads, Butter Naan was the best therefore we repeated the order whereas Masala Missi Roti was too hard and Khamiri Roti was not perfectly cooked. Overall we had a great time here. Great place to go along with your friends and family.

A special adventure: the scene is peculiar, the atmosphere is special, the piano sounds excellent, and the diner is sublime. With all respect, menu can be changed. An excellent list of wines. And the service cannot be better. So....,
