Romano's - Italian restaurant in Mumbai - Mumbai Suburban, India

Romano's is on the first floor (lobby) of the JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. It is an Italian restaurant. The food was good, though lacking in authentic Italian flavors. The service, however, was good. The staff were attentive and efficient. The restaurant's ambience was classy. Prices were reasonable.

the pork belly is extraordinary, the chef put some apple puree between the skin and the meat to reduce the greasy, it's an amazing idea!! The asparagus served as a side item was very fresh. The tiramisu was very good at the beginning, the rum doesn't cover the coffee favout at all and the texture of the cake is perfect, however, it's a bit too sweet when compared with the traditional one.

A very confusing place. Expensive but way too noisy to be luxurious. Very well laid menu but not served well. Seems luxurious but the furniture and tableware is worn out. We were cordially given the worst table in the house even after a reservation. Moved to another table when we protested of course. Our salad butchered while being served. Cutlery never turned up. Yet the crew was very well mannered and courteous. I think it's upon the management to fix it. I don't think I'll want to return. Like I said, it's a confusing place. Maybe it had it's glory days but most are behind it.

I really liked their hospitality and the hygiene of the restaurant...almost all are tasty and worth for money... I really recommend going on weekdays because at weekends, you need to wait for some time to get a seat... My overall experience was really good... Highly recommend this restaurant if you like...

Well-Maintained Common Areas: Beyond the rooms, the hotel's common areas such as the lobby, hallways, and dining spaces were consistently clean and well-maintained. It was evident that they prioritize cleanliness throughout the entire establishment. 3. Regular Housekeeping: The daily housekeeping service was prompt and efficient, ensuring that our room remained spotless throughout our stay. This dedication to maintaining a clean environment greatly enhanced our overall experience at the hotel.

Visited Romano's recently for a special occasion, and my husband and I were floored by the place. It's got lovely high ceilings so you have a feeling of space, which is rare in Mumbai. The service was impeccable. Our host Niket was so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. But above everything else, the food and the cocktails were delicious. The wine poached pears were smooth and luxurious; the bruschetta came with unique toppings like fava bean, artichokes, chickpeas, and mushrooms, and it was all so good. We chose eggplant parmigiana as our main course, and were not disappointed at all. I wanted to try a few different desserts, but we settled for the chocolate mousse with Nitro frozen raspberries (an absolute delight), and took the lemon ricotta cake home for the next day. Highly recommended!!
