Rohini Rock View Point - Tourist attraction in Rohini Tea Garden - Darjeeling, India

Oohh it was beautiful. You will find this turn on the to Darjeeling from Shiliguri. The jeep won't stop their unless you take a reserve car.

Clean and sharp roads . scenic beauty is awesome . A good place to watch the sunset.

We actually took the view from a restaurant. So the review is more about the restaurant than the view point. It's a neat little place where we stopped for breakfast. Breakfast was the typical fare of the region - lachchha Parathas and ghughni, momos and Maggi. Not sure if it was the weather or the cooks proficiency but the streaming hot momos tasted heavenly. The Parathas were the best that we had had - nice and crisp. The place gets quite crowded and the couple running it were calm and pleasant while ensuring that things got delivered. Apart from the indoor seating below, there is an open terrace on top where food is served and you get an amazing view of the hills. Should be a definite stop on your way up to darjeeling particularly if you are going in the morning

Not much of a waterfall. But it's a good tourist spot. If you have less time, you can skip it as it's location is downwards which is a bit far.

Amazingly beautiful viewpoint just 4km before Kurseong town. The slope here is too much precarious specially during rain or fog. My ford ecosport couldn't held itself on hand brake, then tried engaging front gear still the friction was proved less and the car was moving downwards slowly, then engaged the reverse gear then the car could hold itself on the slope. But after taking few photographs and videos of the area, got inside the car and pressed clutch to start it and immediately the car became free and started rolling downwards, tried to start it and pressed peddle brake hard but engine again shut off due to steep slope and sudden engagement of first gear. Car became out of control and started rolling downhill, luckily there was no vehicle behind on the slope and I was able to stop the car after hitting a large stone on the hill to the left. After hitting started the car and pulled it far away out of the slope. As a result rear bumper of my ecosport was damaged but the damage was not that much due to its strong steel body. Lesson learnt: Never Ever Park/Pull over your Car in an Inclined Slope Specially If Your Car is Having Electronic Stopping/Braking System. Peace!

Must visit place in Darjeeling if you have bike then you can go very easily but breaking system and gear should be in very good condition because you have to go very hilly road to visit this place. Love that place and must visit at this place if you visit Darjeeling.

Nice place to view Siliguri from top. Specially at evening.
