Rock Cafe - Restaurant in Calangute - North Goa, India

Casual and friendly open air street cafe/ restaurant / bar. Kid friendly options and adjustments if requested. Came back again because of that. TV screen showing sports - whatever is relevant that day. Yesterday football, today cricket. Nice mix of people and not crowded for us since we eat at kid friendly hours. Service friendly and not slow.

The Rock Cafe, wow already over 12 years we visit this lovely family run restaurant. They always make us feel so welcome and Felix and his staff will go out of their way to give visitors a fabulous meal. Nothing is to much. Lovely Goan Indian and European food. Felix will text us if he found some beautiful fresh fish. They do make us feel special every time we come! It's worth the visit.

Words cannot describe the taste of the food that I had here. This is what I ordered Butter Garlic Calamari, prawns masala and Prawns curry with rice. The food was just great as well as the service.

The Rock cafe...formally Rose's cafe, is one of the main 'people watching' venues in Calangute. Always noisy, always hectic, always dusty...but always enjoyable. The owners, Felix and Rose, are fantastic hosts and the staff are like old friends after one visit. The food here is superb, always freshly prepared, always washed in mineral water...likewise any ice in drinks or juices...guaranteed to be fresh clean water. A wonderful place to sit and watch the world go by. One word of caution. Have plenty of mosquito repellent...they have voracious appetites.

The owner of this restaurant will only entertain the foreigner guests means those who does not belongs to india .....the waiter refused to provide glasses and said "can provide two glasses for six people" .....worst ..worst ...worst

Always good food here lovely staff Jackets steaks Salads all washed with filtered water so fresh & crispy there menu is Massive even Egg & Chips Beans on toast... if you want some Home cooked food... Indian Chinese etc & There french baguettes are Amazing my husbands favourite is Steak&Onion totally delicious & good prices! Would 100% recormend eating here been a regular for the past 10 years lovely Lovely Couple Rose & Felix make you more than welcome too :0) ENJOY.

Food here is way to expensive. Also, the service is not good. They dont even serve water to their customers, we had to literally ask the waiter for a glass of water, instead of they being pro active in serving water. A big NO to this cafe in the future. Thumbs Down.
