It's very nice place. Most beach items are products of weathering and erosion. Over the years, water and air wear out on earth. The continuous action of waves hitting rocky cliffs, for example, can cause some rocks to explode. Larger stones can be worn in the city into smaller pieces of sand. This beach is located just opposite The Promenade. As the name describes-The Rock Beach, its full of rocks and one has to be careful while going down to the beach.. It's clean and really beautiful.. Infact the whole White Town is very beautiful, well decorated and neat and clean
One end of the promenade beach is this Rock Beach, with a old Pier. One would think of having a stroll on the beach from Promenade to the lighthouse through rock beach Old Pier, but please note you can't. There's no thoroughfare in a block being restricted Customs Offices and Warehouse zone.
Rock Beach is not suitable for swimming due to its rocky terrain and strong currents. However, it offers a unique and enjoyable experience for visitors who appreciate its natural beauty, historical significance, and the charming fusion of French and Indian cultures. Another notable feature of Rock Beach is the old lighthouse located nearby. Although visitors cannot enter the lighthouse, it adds to the scenic beauty of the area and serves as a historic symbol.
Beautiful place to visit especially for the sunrise. It is a walkable distance from the French colony. It feels very nice during night time and like it name suggests it is surrounded by rocks where you can seat to enjoy the sound of water.
The sunrise view is good...Clean roads and beach...Morning walk besides the beach is really awesome...Public toilets also available...Boating available for 300rs for 1hr ride...
This beach is regarded as one of the most attractive sight-seeing places in Pondicherry. This beach is situated on the busy streets of Pondicherry. In the evening, a lot of activities take place on the beach which makes the place even more happening. It is surrounded by restaurants, art galleries, and the famous French war memorial is just 0.4 km away from the beach. In order to get a sunrise view, many people book a hotel near the rock beach. This beach is not so well maintained. It is very dirty as you will find bottles everywhere nearby. But spending evening on this feels very great full. Evening time it is too crowded. Overall it is good.
The end of Pomenade beach is called as rock beach..this is the part where I liked to spend time in Pomenade in the evening. The old bridge is not accessible since its broken...

Got referred to R&J by a friend based on the experience he had from the Rupin Pass trek. This being my first time trekking at high altitudes, was a bit apprehsive at first, but talking to Taarak set off these apprehensions. We had taken the Lamayur

This is the best gym where I've never experienced such great care and support from trainers. I've come here for fitness where they not only give workouts but also other activities like Zumba, yoga, cross fit, etc. and I'm feeling good about myself. I
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Sasikala while we were on a trip to Pondicherry, and we couldn't be more satisfied with the level of care she provided. My wife was feeling unwell with a fever, and Dr. Sasikala's expertise and
Doctor Mithun is not only a dentist but also a psychologist and educator. His way of explaining very clearly and simply to patients the care he will provide makes the appointments very pleasant. Aware that teeth say a lot about an individual, he is
