A Nightmare Homestay Experience I recently had the misfortune of staying at what can only be described as the worst homestay I have ever encountered. From the moment I set foot in the place, it was clear that this was a decision I would come to regret. Firstly, the cleanliness of the homestay left much to be desired. The rooms were unkempt, and it seemed like they hadn't been properly cleaned in ages. The sheets were stained, and the bathroom was downright disgusting. I wouldn't have let my worst enemy use those facilities. But the lack of cleanliness was just the tip of the iceberg. The hosts were incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. It felt like they couldn't be bothered to make their guests feel welcome. Any request or question was met with a dismissive attitude, as if we were inconveniencing them by being there. The advertised amenities were a complete joke. The Wi-Fi was so slow that it was practically unusable To add insult to injury, the location was terrible. It was far from any attractions or conveniences, making it a chore to get anywhere worth visiting. I felt stranded in a remote and desolate place, far removed from the vibrant atmosphere I had hoped for. In conclusion, this homestay was a disaster from start to finish. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to think twice. There are plenty of other accommodations in Hospet that offer cleanliness, friendly hosts, and the basic amenities that make a stay enjoyable. Save yourself the disappointment and steer clear of this homestay - it's an experience you won't soon forget, for all the wrong reasons.

As a first time solo traveller, I was initially sceptical about staying at a homestay. But after a little encouragement from a friend I decided to go ahead with it. And I'm glad I did so. The owner of the place, Vani is the perfect host you could ever ask for. She was kind and caring. The rooms are clean and well maintained. There's also free Wi-Fi available. The homestay is budget friendly and just 10 mins away from the epicenter ot Hampi with buses and rickshaws easily available. My stay was comfortable and safe. I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hampi, especially solo female travellers.

Nice experience. Hosts are very nice people. Food was quite good and reasonable. Hampi is a small town, so if you have your own vehicle then no need to worry about where you are going first, most of things are within 5-6 kms. And 2 spots around 10kms. Need to park the car near to house in open plot.

Perfect home stay. Good home cooked food. Close to the main hampi site seeing.Host provides good service. Room is comfortable for 2 adults but a bit small if there more people to adjust.

We had a lovely stay at RKS. The owner is very helpful and hospitable and cooks great food. The homestay is in a quaint and friendly neighborhood away from the touristy area. The owner also arranged a pick-up to and from the train station for us and set us up with her travel agency to get bikes to use to visit ruins. She can help you with all your travel needs. And the place is clean and cozy. Wifi isn't great in the whole area, so I recommend using a hotspot on a cell/data plan. Highly recommend staying here!
