RKN Beach Resort - Resort hotel in Pudukuppam - Pondicherry, India

The property was well maintained, the food is really good and the ladies who served us food were all very friendly and hospitable. The front office staff was also good but a little bit of training on nuances of hospitality, way to recieve guests and efficiently processing their requests will help. Nothing that is a deal breaker. For example greeting the guests warmly was absent. We ordered extra towels, and 2 more items. They rang the bell three times to give us the three housekeeping items. The watchman who operates the gates to the beech was ok, but hospitality training needs to be given to him as well. Overall , our experience was not bad at all and I can recommend it to all people. There are bikes and lots of games for kids to enjoy.

Everything is great about the place. It has everything for spending memorable time with family. Kids enjoy cycling. Plantations are extremely well maintained. Food is acceptable, could be better. The only issue I found was that the staff was slow to execute the tasks. May be because of volume of guests... Not sure. It has access to the beach from the other gate. We found the beach to be a bit dirty the day we visited and ended up walking to the nearby Sandunes area for enjoying the waves. However, we saw on our day of return that someone was cleaning the dirty side of the beach also. P S: I got a smooth charging experience for my EV.

Someone built the hotel tastefully; Someone bought the hotel for the taste of it but not the service culture. Well structured property but needs attention to service and amenities. Pool water was turbid. No towels. Food was good. Rates were little high. Great location and access to beach but the approach road to the property is not so great. There are few many luxury resorts in the same vicinity but none of them bother to do anything about the approach road. Close access to Sand dunes, well maintained private beach with activities for kids and adults - like Aqua park etc. Paragliding for adults available. Overall Ok'ish stay. Great potential if promoted well and staff trained !

The property is amazing and looks a private society next to beach. It's vast on amenities like kids playing area, cycles etc. But don't expect a 5 Star experience. On a busy day the service becomes average. The staff is trying it's best but needs a management makeover to make it like a 5-star property.

Great place to stay with family Room: We had booked Deluxe room with Private beach and found it clean, well maintained. Pools: Private pool in the room was nicely maintained. Also, there are lot of pools in the premises which are clean and nicely maintained Staff: Friendly and helpful Food: High on Quality, Quantity and taste. Breakfast buffet is good. Amenities: Great amenities for young kids as well. They have kids play area with slides, swings etc; free Cycles, board games, small cricket turf, Archery section. They also have Badminton and a separate tennis court. Private Beach: Clean and well maintained. Paradise Beach walkable from this beach. Private beach also has life guard and a small Sea goddess temple.

I stayed in this resort for 2 nights with my colleagues in October 2023. I was impressed with the resort facilities including easy access to the beach, a heated swimming pool, a well equipped spa, multiple sport facilities and a great vibe. However a series of regrettable incidents happened with housekeeping on our final day of stay, leading to an unfavorable review. Till date, the Hotel Management has not bothered to reach out to me for details about what happened.

A very good resort near the beach and overall the room was huge but was in a lack of windows and the food had a lot of options to pick from but it wasn't the best or worst. The service was good as the people were kind and helped carry the suitcases to the car and the location was AMAZING they chose near the beach and thus, the name. There were different beach rides there. Overall it's good

Stayed with family. Positives are closer to the beach, multiple swimming pools, room and restaurant are located close by etc. Food quality and quantity are awesome. Checked in on a week day and everything was fine. But from the next day when the resort becomes full due to holiday, services fall apart. Restaurant do not have ample space to handle peak visitors. The service inside Restaurant is horrible as they do not remove used plates, clean tables, and arrange items for the next person to dine. It is utter chaos. The rooms are good, but they need to focus on proper maintenance and upgradation to have a good ambience. Other services are good. Lack of any first aid is a very big concern.
