Riverside Homestay - Guest house in Hampi - Ballari, India

Decent place for a one-night stay. The location is nice, being closer to the Hampi bazar and Virupaksha temple, and also close to the Ferry Ghat Point (to take ferry to reach to the other side of Hampi). I got a room booked for 700Rs directly speaking to the homestay owner. The room is decent for a night stay, there's good wifi and a clean bathroom attached inside the room. Unfortunately, the next morning I also woke up to find cockroaches around the floor (tho those cockroaches didn't really disturb me, but I'll def cut points for hygiene in the stay) The people at the homestay are really humble and nice, they'll make you breakfast or any meal whenever you ask for (meal charged at super affordable rate). You can also get bicycles/motorbikes on rent from them. You might get better stays nearby but considering the price, this is really good for a backpacker!

Loved my stay at this place. The homestay was very cozy with soft beds. Friendly and helpful people run the place with a good neighborhood. it is located just beside the virupaksha temple. Although the temperatures were around 40 Deg C. The rooms were cool and it was very comfortable.

The host and family went above and beyond during my time at Riverside Homestay. The rooms are simple but the location and food is great. They had great electric bikes and tour options (they are hoping to introduce wild camping which sounded amazing). Laundry service is also available. I cannot recommend this place enough - wish I had stayed longer!! The first homestay where you really felt like they treated you as a family member, not just another paying guest.

If there are more stars i will surely give. In simple words great place, great people, and the best stay. You should visit. This place and planned your stay in riverside homestay. Location is near many places that need to be visited in humpi

Excellent place, a few meters from one of the most beautiful temples in Hampi. The family host is very welcoming and has helped us with a problem we had with changing a bus.

Yesterday I visit.... If you budget traveller prefer for Riverside Homestay. Nearest Virupaksha Temple. Tea nd lunch good for Maharashtrian people as like chulivarche jewan..also they help to explore Hampi..keep it up..

Great place to stay in Hampi. Great rooms and lovely family. They helped us with our train ticket. Would recommend!

The location of the place is great and safe too. The property is good, have roof top restaurant with good vibe. Food is amazing. The rooms are basic and worth the price. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The famous temples and site are walking distance from the place, also many food options also available on the walking distance from the property. Overall nice place to stay for budget travellers.
