Riverside Coffee - Estate Stay, Coorg - Featured Reviews (240)
We stayed here for 2 nights. Altogether it was a good experience. However I would like to give a detailed feedback so that you can decide based on your priorities: Rooms: Rooms are very clean and spacious and the bathroom is top notch with a rustic feeling. Best for kids. But since there are only four cottages it tends to feel lonely or isolated from the main area. Food: Food and service is awesome. However the pricing of lunch and dinner seemed bit high. It's 500 per head. I would suggest making it 250 per head and reducing the quantity. The serving is enough for 3 people. Why to waste money and food? Location: Location is okay but very far from madikeri. If you want a bit more chilly weather madikeri is better. Madikeri is around 27km from this place and the road is not that good. If that is not a problem then you can go ahead and stay. It was a good stay and we enjoyed it.
I haven't stayed here but I visited their cafe. It's a Lovely cafe I must say! It's gotta vibe of its own. I was looking to work from somewhere oneday and found this place, their wifi was strong enough and I did enjoy their cup of Coffee and some sandwich! Coorg needs a lot more of such cafes. Good job, team Riverside:)
If you are searching for a getaway that's a cross between a homestay and a resort (in a very good sense, closer to resort, minus the usual commercial aspects), don't think twice - just book a room and head here. A big shout-out to Adi, from the team, who showed us around the property. Pretty eye-opening to listen to his story on what it takes to get that little cup of awesomeness on your table.
1. The Cottages are great!! But way too expensive. (You could get a 4 star resort at these prices) 2. There is no Hot water, we stayed for 3 days and they couldn't fix it. 3. There is no room service, and they don't mention that anywhere while booking. 4. The cafe is far from the cottages, so even if you want a bottle of water, you will have to walk yourself to the cafe and get the water. 5. Too much noise of Crickets (it's like a 24 hour fire alarm) It hardly stops. And too many bugs and creepy crawlers all over the place. Even when the cottages are closed, somehow they get inside the bathroom. 6. They ask for Rs150 Extra to change the towels the next day. (we argued about this and they didn't charge us for it) but if someone's gullible enough, they might charge you for these kinds of things. 7. They don't change the sheets the next day, they just turn it around.
My two days at Riverside Coffee Estate in Siddapur, Coorg, were nothing short of magical. The host family and their team truly redefine hospitality. It was a first-time trip with my mom, and every moment felt like a cherished memory. What stood out was the impeccable food, sourced directly from the farm. Each meal was a culinary delight, bursting with freshness and flavor. The farm-to-table experience was not just a concept here; it was a way of life. And let's talk about their coffee! I'm still entranced by the unique fragrance that accompanied every cup. It was like a symphony for the senses, and I couldn't get enough of it. Thanks to Chandan, who brewed it for me every time and did a fantastic job. The serene ambience was the perfect backdrop to our getaway. Our cottage was a slice of paradise, and the pondside dining was a serene experience in itself. Appreciate their effort towards Solar Energy usage and hardly any waste of water. Riverside Coffee Estate Coorg is more than a destination; it's an escape into nature's embrace, a journey of flavors, and a treasure trove of memories. I can't wait to return to this idyllic haven. Thank you for creating such an unforgettable experience.
The serenity, calmness, fantastic staff, delicious food, and picturesque view of the coffee estate - everything in this resort is par excellence. Right from our check-in to our check-out, the experience was surreal. Rooms were clean, very comfortable, welcoming and cheerful staff to the resort's location made this place truly a home away from home. The experience of touring the coffee estate is one of a kind, as the breathtaking views and the soothing vibes are just the right doses for the visitors! The aroma of freshly ground coffee at the cafe will compel you to leave a piece of your heart behind this place. Thank you, Natya and Rishwin for ensuring we had a comfortable stay. Gina, Chandan, Adi, Akshay, Abhishek, and all the support staff, hats off to you for going above and beyond in making our stay memorable.. and yes, your team spirit is exceptional! Loved the charm of this place...
The Food quality is good when the owner is around.. else the food can be pathetic and horrible. We ordered Pasta and it was like macaroni overcooked. They changed it to a dry macaroni. It was just waste of money... please do not serve Italian food without proper recipes.

Nestled between lush greenery, overlooking a lake. Wonderful South Indian breakfast with a variety of dosas on the menu, which is the USP. Don't miss the Davangere Benne dosa and the Mysore Masala dosa!!
It's a dhabha style eatery, with amazing taste, don't expect much cleanliness, the lack of atmosphere is compensated by the amazing taste, and amalgamation of the right amount of savoury and spicy food. Also parking is available right in front, they
