River Forest Resort, Neral - Resort hotel in Neral, Mircholi - Raigad, India

The place is huge, nice and green with lots of stay options but the service needs to improve. Rooms are comfortable and plenty of space around with river in the vicinity. Due to it being monsoon season there were lots of mosquitoes around and even issue with power supply. I am sure it will be awesome during winter and other times. Would advice people visiting to carry essentials stuff as this is place is in remote area with no access to market and limited network. Hope the management improves their service as people might expect good service especially after travelling through the rocky patch of around 2 kms from the main road.

We stayed here prior to a walkathon event literally for less than 12 hours. The rooms are ok and staff is ok. We needed hot water or tea in morning 4 a.m. since our competition was starting at 5 am. However the staff did not serve it despite prior assurance that it will be available. The rooms are large and bathrooms were clean. We did not try TV but it was there in the room. Lot of mosquitos kept us awake for long. Biggest problem is that the resort is not easily accessible by road. It is far away and approach road is narrow. However the pricing is same as what they charge in city. Overall not-so-positive experience for me.

Very nice place with full of natural view. Ooooosum and tasty food. Secure and safe place to visit with family and friends...

Location and peaceful environment. Pros - Location Only and friendly staff. Cons - Tiny Rooms with 1 queen beg + 2 Bunk beds. Electricity Fluctuation. There was no room service, Intercom is just for display purpose. Pool was not clean. (its Too small) They have huge space for development, unfortunately all this space is wasted. This resort is having great river view. Room Tip - Go for 105 - 106 near pool.

* The Worst place and Worst service * Fake promises. Poor service. Resort works on generators so electricity gets cut off. Half of the time there was no electricity. They took more than 30 min to give us room.Not even a single fan in the reception area.Wi-Fi was not working, Tv also not working. Rooms are so untidy. Curtens and bedsheet, blanckets was not cleaned. Overall experiance was horrib;e with this resort. Don't go on pictures. Everything is fake.

Pathetic, Fake promise, fake reservations, no corporation from the staff, disgusting. I booked this resort 15 days prior and the day I arrived they said no rooms available. We are full. I had a reservation commitment and also paid in advance. But they deined and asked us to go for some other resort.. There sales person Mr.Suraj Mishra who gave me the booking was not ready to talk. He gave fake commitment..worst experience with their resort.. I suggest don't even try for it. Waste of time and money.

* the Worst place and Worst service * The only good thing about this resort is Food. We suffered for more than 7 hours of electricity cut. No proper power back up (shortage of generators). Whole time the manager was not available. Not even a single fan in the reception area. They have boards displayed that digital payments are accepted but it is FALSE they do not accept digital payments. Everyone those who want to enjoy their weekend please don't come here unnecessarily you will spoil your Mood. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
