The hotel is situated in a residential area, If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay and is tight on budget then probably you'll like it here... The room was really big and spacious, and the price was also reasonable... However the furnitures in the room needs to be reorganized and little fixation is needed here and there... Other than that my experience was good...

One more budget place to stay at Guwahati. Room is clean and spacious. Bathroom have geaser. Room decorations are attractive. Food is not ok. They have limited options we ordered the mini thali.where the rice was not full cooked and egg burji was too oily. The can provide a better service for food. It is yoo far from the main market. They location doesnt have any hotel or restaurant for food. Mini we have to walk a km for anything. The area is resistencial so it doesnt have place to shop/ eat. I like their rooftop arrangement which is good place to spent our evening times. Over all its recommended for one day over night stay.
My short stay at the River Bay Guest House was an extremely pleasant experience. Everything was so perfect and professional; the food was extremely good, the behaviour of the staff gets a five star too. The rooms, including the bathrooms are extremely neat and clean, inviting luxury and comfort to the visitors. Mr. D. Borah, the owner is a gentleman with polite and professional behaviour. The rooftop has arrangements for evening entertainment with the roof having sitting capacity and colourful lights illuminating the place with music and good people. It's a stay worth your money and peace of mind. Just go for it!!! :)
This guest house is like a second home as the staff is very helpful. I was expecting a normal stay here like others but it was one the best comfortable stay in this guest house. The area in which guest house located is very quiet. The amazing thing is that at the top of hotel building guests can enjoy breakfast and dinner as it is decorated specially for such purpose. Bathroom was very clean and fully maintained. Would love to visit again. #letsguide
You will feel homely here. Manager and the staff are very helpful and nice. The hotel rooms are clean and well decorated with all the facilities. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Yet another budget stay place in Guwahati. Rooms are neat and clean. Bathrooms with geyser. Food was just fine and the prices are nominal. Only draw back is the location. The guest house is situated on a residential area road, 3 km away from main market. And the road has no public transport connectivity, you need to either take an auto or a cab, which defeats the purpose of choosing this place for low cost. And there are no restaurants for at least a km. We had to walk to uzan bazaar to find a place to eat. Overall, this is recommended for those looking for just a place to stay overnight and don't have much plans to roam around or for those who have a vehicle
