Riva Boutique Apartment - Hotel in Pilerne, Sangolda - North Goa, India

Their pictures might look amazing but in reality it won't feel that great. The pool is not maintained. The dont have a restaurant area. The breakfast is just bread omelet that is served in the lobby itself. And the hotel is located in town area!

Rooms are decent. Service is okay, not great. Good ambiance but not maintained to be called picture perfect.

Maybe it used to be a good property but not anymore. They are clearly are not maintaining anything indoor or outdoor. From intercom phone not working, ac in the living room areas didn't work, ac remotes didn't work, fan regulator didn't work, swimming pool/bathroom not cleaned brown stains everywhere, the balcony had a half broken sharp edge table (dangerous for kids), fungus in the fridge, half the lights didn't work & rooms were so dim, parking area has no light at all. From the three days that we stayed, two days had only poha for breakfast, but you can request for egg preparation & other sachets of butter, jam, ketchup were provided. We tried to converse with the staff but they too have a very casual care a damn attitude.

starting with booking experience . so polite and helpful nature of the manager . helped us with check-in with more ease . the rooms were so neat and clean . maintained so well ambience was awesome. breakfast is so tasty every day with a new dish . pool clean and tidy . all amenities in working condition mentioned before . staff of this place is on another level . never experienced so chearful staff . up-frontly suggesting what's best we can go for to save time and money . whenever needed any assistance ready to help us without any delay . my family super happy ... we dint missed our home because we were. so much enjoying this place . hats off to all staff in Reva apartment who made our trip so relaxing and enjoyable. a big thanks to you. I recommend visitors to stay here as it's worth every penny . family time with the tasty food and pool time .

The place is located near Porvorim highway which is close to Panaji city and Mapuca city. Even though it's located nearby to the highway the place is secluded and is away from all the pollution. Restaurants and other hotels are nearby. So even if you do not have a vehicle you can walk it out across the street and find something to eat. Even past 12:00 am. The Staff are very friendly and kind. They're helpful. The place serves free breakfast from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. I missed out on the breakfast part but hope y'all don't.. They serve Poha, Omelette, Toasts, Bread and butter, corn flakes, Tea and Coffee just the usual but again it's free so do make full use of it. The room that I was living in had a TV in the bedroom, I didn't mind that because I usually spent my time in the bedroom chilling it out. The room also has a mini refrigerator to keep your booze you can also get your own food and everything. Parking is available near the hotel property. The bathroom area is clean and well hygienic. Proper ventilation overall. There's also a swimming pool very well maintained and a seated deck lounge area to chill near the pool .

I've stayed at Riva multiple times and it's a stay my family chooses whenever they come to Goa. It's at a very accessible, residential location that makes you feel at home. Rooms are spacious with a living room and a lovely balcony where I loved having my evening coffee. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. My special thanks to Madhu for serving scrumptious homemade breakfasts every morning and Lakshman for being extremely accommodating.

I had checked in to this property for a quick three day stay. I am writing this review to not just appreciate or share my good experience but to request each one here to confidently check in to this property. 1. Rooms are clean and well maintained, the AC and the Refrigerator both worked well with the water kettle and TV. Clean Lenin and pillows with well washed bath towels was the icing on the cake. 2. Washroom was so good and clean and hygiene was maintained well. Very impressive I should say. When you age out of your house it's only the washroom that bothers you the most, but this hotel impressed me so much. There were enough soap, body wash, shampoo that was given. 3. Breakfast was a part of my package, the menu was limited but the choice was enough for me. One of the days they served me with Aalu Paratha, that was the BEST paratha that I have ever eaten. Sorry mommy, bhaiyya was absolutely good. The omelets were at another level and I simply loved it. 4. Staff, they were so good. So I met and had earlier read about David. He is one of the best front desk staff a hotel would want to have. Absolutely a gem of a person I would say. Hospitality and David seem like synonyms to me. I might have called him like 20 times in one day and he did everything in his capacity to make my stay feel comfortable. David also arranged for local transportation from the airport to the hotel, to helping me rent a bike and to drop me back to the station. Thanks so much David! All in all I HIGHLY recommend this place, it has a swimming pool, easily accessible to all the beaches, close to the town and affordable rates. Why would one want to miss out on an opportunity to stay here. The service, behavior of the front desk staff, cleanliness, breakfast and the value for money.

Our Experience at Riva Boutique Appartment was super awesome. I would like to give more than 5 stars for the ratings of experience. Definately experience was amazing, warm hospitality. Definately we want to go back to the same hotel on our next holiday trip at Goa. All the staff were very kind nature & very helpful. Swimming Pool is also fine and rooms are very specious. House keeping also nice and hotel is very clean. The Manager Lawrence & Chef Mansingh were very very very kind and helpful in all situation. Whatever help we asked we got within few minutes. We reached bit early morning on first day at the time of check-in, and check-in time was 1 PM but that time Chef Mansingh helped us very much to sit there and take some rest and when manager Lawrence came he tried to provide the rooms at the earliest. Just Thank you very much for the awesome experience guys. Surely we will stay at the same hotel at on our next visit.
