Rishyap View Point- Kalimpong District, West Bengal, India - Tourist attraction in Rishop, Ladam Khasmahal - , India

The view point is very good for viewing kanchanjanga range on clear days. But the roads are in very poor conditions for 2 km after the pine forest. The tour cars are some times getting backward while going upwards, very risky. I don't know why the PWD are getting delayed to construct this road. The update of the road conditions that I have written here is for 23.10.2023. Don't know about future. Please take the latest update and then go. Else you will make yourself and your family in risk. The homestay owner over there are so cruel that they don't even let you know about this for their business. I was there for one night and felt that how I will safely return back. Will recommend everyone after the road conditions improves.

Not such a great view. The same view can be seen from Delo park. Most of the time it's cloudy here, it's your luck if you can see kanchanjunga from here. Road condition is very bad, self driving is painful and causes damage to your car. Not a great value place.

Small but beautiful village at a mountain top. Beautiful view . And place is very cold and romantic. Lots of beautiful hotels are present. You can spend night with friends . Go to viewpoint for sunrise in the morning. All over nice place to visit.

I was visited this place 9 year ego.. From that time I love this place. I saw first time Mt. Kanchenjunga from here & the best sunrise till date.. Home stays are well maintained. Ambience is too good. A must visit place for nature lover.

Rishyap is the Hilly village near Lava and Lolegaon. We went there on sightseeing tour from Lava by hiring a car. Visitors who love nature, peace, tranquility, jungle, visit here.
