Rishra ferry ghat has gone from a small in organised ferry point to a well organized station. There are a lot of facilities available now. The ticketing system has improved and safety has improved as well. Passengers are provided life jackets as well in case they want to feel more safe. The floating deck is bigger now as well. The best part is the introduction of bigger boats which are locally known as launch.
An easy way to travel between Kharadah and Rishra. Ferry boats available every 15 to 20 mins. Fare of Rs. 6 for each passenger. For two wheeler vehicle you have to pay Rs. 5 extra (as well as extra Rs. 5 to the ferry operators who will help you to carry your vehicle to the ferry). Overall a beautiful experience, to travel across the heart of the Ganga. Best experienced and dusk and dawn
It is situated beside G T road at Rishra. The ferry service run between Rishra and Khardah but due to lockdown now it is suspended. This is not clean the if you visit to this place you will clearly see the lack of maintenance. I don't think it is a place to visit but nearby you will get many ghats for refreshing.
not so well maintained ghat. most of the time ferry service is stoped due to various reasons like staff problem, lack of water in khardah side and so many.
This is a medium ferry terminal. This feery is not too crowded. Ticket price is 7 rupees for single. This ferry is over khardah ghat.
Very good and smooth journey. Crossed Ganga from Rishra Ferry ghat to Khardah ferry ghat. Only 7 Rs. Ticket.
This is one of the oldest ferry Ghat at Rishra. The boat service starts at 5.15a.m. and closed at 10.30p.m. This is beneficial thousand s of daily passengers used to go from Rishra to Khardah.
