A trip to Rishikesh is not complete if you don't do rafting. Make sure you book in advance. And that you do it through a good service provider so that all safety rules are adhered to. This has to be experienced to be believed. You have to wear life jackets over your own clothes and you will get wet for sure. Water is very clean so it's awesome experience specially in the summer to get wet.

Awesome experience. Our guide was good, as he explained all the instructions well, and explained the spots that we saw along the stretch. And moreover, he let us jump to the Ganges :-D. The experience remains etched in my memory. Must try. Several packages are there, and the rates depend on the distance, I chose the 400rs-18km package, which I recommend for all, who are doing this for the first time, as u can enjoy multiple rapids, which is the fun part. It's completely safe if u listen to the instructions from the guide correctly.
A wonderful experience. In one word it's awesome. No need to carry a separate dress. The rafting boat providers will provide us separate dress for rafting. Try the cliff jump in the mid way. Also taste the Maggie and have a cup of chai in mid of rafting. Don't worry the people who are taking u for rafting are well trained and experienced.
It was very nice & adventures to see and you will enjoy it it is little costly and if you want to do it you have to take a 2 or 3 days package.
