Rio Hospital for women and Children - Children's hospital in Madurai - Madurai, India

I had a very good experience with this hospital, doctor and the treatment. Dr. Sathish Kumar is one of the best paediatricians here. He doesn't recommend medicine unnecessarily. Suggests few only if it is very much necessary. Truly does it for the children's goods. Pre assessment is done prior to the consultation which is quite satisfactory. His timing is from 11AM to 1PM and 6PM to 8PM every weekday except Sundays.

This is review based on period of 11 months (8 month of check up under Jothi mam before deliver & 3 months post Delivery). as my wife is more sensitive she like to have a supportive doctor who able to handle moral support to my wife (this is our 1st child). as we taken check up for 1st 3months in Coimbatore she is comfort, but once we went to her native near Madurai, she is not at all comfort with doctors we visit under major hospitals and the employee behavior. as we landed in the Rio it been great relief for me that not to go to another hospital :-), as Jothi mam pamper her through out the checkup and delivery. heartfelt thanks to her, asst doctors and under staff nurse. its been great to have such type of doctors and her team under the hospitality hospital. even thought she is a gynecologist, she supported post delivery a lot. "some people might check hospital history will the doctors force c-section" - as for that in RIO under Jothi mam she never recommend such a thing. she always Transparent about the situation as we checked with the other visitor's too. Pro's - Rio only for woman's and child so we can avoid general out patient, under Jothi mam every thing is taken care, all in one floor don't want to move floor to floor for tests and scans. asst doctors and staff nurse under Jothi mam as well supported while visit every time. great hospitality and supportive at the front desk and the accounting section. Con's - less and open car parking area, high waiting time during the visit ( depends on the scan for the baby movement ), there is canteen in front but not well established which might help while waiting during regular checkup and scan. to much rush while visiting pediatrician and not satisfied so we opt-in other option. as hospital need to take care of the Room. as we opt-in for the jasmine which is special room throughout the stay there is bad smell is coming from the bathroom (this is not because of the cleaning staff they are gold they taken care well of the room hygiene it is because of the building please take care of that) Highly recommended for delivery under "DR. V. JOTHI LAKSHMI".

Best hospitals in Madurai. Doctor (Naresh Kanna and vinodh) giving time to explain about babies problem and he listens..and gives Prescription is more attractive and helps to understand the medicine.Nurses are also friendly and insurance person Jeeva nantham also good valuable support. best kids care hospital

I glad to share that Rio hospital is a first class medication to children in madurai. I really experienced with my babies. They are giving hope and healing at the same time. Hospital located at Good environment. All Doctors caring each children and know their status. All staff giving good service and caring patients well. Especially Mr.Bharat sir (Admin) very helpful and Assist all time when I approached him for any medical term. And also I thank jeevan sir who working insurance dept gave me marvelous support.

Very worst experience, we have admitted our baby for accident head injury. they are not allowing properly to meet our babies and every day different doctors attending and different feedback from them. each day they told us baby is in good improvement, and most of the times training doctors only available and they getting instructions through WhatsApp only. In this condition suddenly after 6th day they told us to save the baby need to do operation. We can't believe, our baby struggled lot and after that they telling like this not acceptable. Finally we have moved to other hospital and our baby is ok now. Also the room we have stayed is very bad. Only money minded and playing with small babies life.

Few weeks ago I delivered my beautiful baby boy in this hospital nd the doctors nd staff nurses were very caring nd treated me very friendly!! Especially DR.Jothi Lakshmi Mam treated me like her own daughter!! She cared me soo well throughout my pregnancyjourney! Nd staff Jothika ,shivaranjani ,Nithya,Kalaivani sister was so dedicated to their work nd checked me every few hours if I was doing ok ! Everyone was so easy to gel nd so friendly!! I had a good experience with all doctors and staffs here !! Thank u sooo much RIO hospital for caring me thorough out my pregnancy journey
