Awesome experience at the Ridgeview homestay. Ankur ji (the host) was so hospitable and made us feel at home. I was with my mom and we went to Shimla unprepared at the last hour. Ankur ji offered us spare sweaters, socks and shoes and we had a great time exploring Shimla. He also provided taxi services for exploring around. We definitely plan to visit Shimla again in the future and there's no doubt that we will opt for Ridgeview homestay for our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shimla. Ankur ji is a very warm and hospitable person who takes care of each of his guests as his own family
We booked one 2 bhk for four of us and it was really worth it. Property is decent, care taker is very polite and hardworking. The owner of this property is really very good and helpful. He will assist you from booking cabs to bike and everything. We booked for one day but ended up spending three days because of nice hospitality. I will recommend this property to everyone if you want a solitude place outside Shimla.
Nice room. Far distance from Mall Road. if u have to book here you pay extra taxi fare 400 for mall road. Owner of this Home stay mr. Ankur ji is very Nice and Helpful person. over all experience is Good. only one problem which i faces that Far distance from mall road.
must mention that the property is not only 5 km far from the city but it's at the down of the hill with steep slopes and sharp turns. Locals and Chandigarh taxis may not have troubles but for tourists drivers coming from plains it's far and down and tricky to drive. you can't come back to take rest to this property if you want because of this kind of distance and topography While I requested to mention the 5 km far and 5 km down too, I was told to take my money back and go back at 9 pm in the night! The biggest drawback is this! The stay at this property needs careful planning.
A wonderful homestay away from the hustle and bustle of the city which gives you a more beautiful view at night. it overlooks a vast expanse of forest area and is quite secluded. the rooms are quite aesthetic. There is wifi,tv and geyser. On top of that you would have a wonderful host who leaves no stone unturned to make sure that your stay here is pleasant
Nice room, nice room view, little bit distance from mall road, hotel car service is amazing, they never realised that mall road distance. Food is very good quality but rate is little higher from others restaurant or mall road. we enjoyed born fire at the terrace of the hotel. Mostly enjoy silent of the Himalayas from hotel. Hotel owner was very friendly & communicate all the issue very honestly. 24h hot water available in the room. copule or group stay both are suitable. Even you pickup for tour in local car driver's from hotel he also go for good lunch as per resenable price. Thanks to all...If next time we visit definitely go for this home stay.

Firstly let me take the opportunity to thank the magnificent person Mr Ankur Grol (Home Stay Owner). What a guy. He the most genuine person i have ever met in my life. Very kind and hospitality is at the best. He is a true gem in Shimla. Very helping and welcoming nature. And now comes to the second best part was the stay. The homestay is best for those who is actually looking for peace. Away from crowd. Although it is easily reachable to the mall road but i personally liked the place because of that. The homestay was very clean with best interior and exterior (meant the view). Rest people who all are reading and planning to visit shimla must give a try. You will love it guys. Will come again.
