Rooms should be more neat and clean. Rates are more than reasonable. Location is very good.
Rooms are not so good. AC not working. They caused a dent to my car and they never informed me or apologized about it. When we order breakfast we feel as if we are asking for free food, The staff managing the kitchen is full of attitude.

Stayed for 2 nights @ Hotel Ricon. Had booked luxury room with AC via MakeMyTrip. Observations- 1. Excellent location within the city but pretty far from the airport. Took 1.5 hours and costed around Rs 500 (OLA cabs) to get to the hotel from the airport (Kamakhya temple takes half an hour to reach). 2. Standard rooms. Clean bathroom. TV with cable. Double bed. 3. Lots of restaurants and general shops around the hotel. 4. Food in the restaurant is good but very very costly. Milk coffee is Rs 40 and chicken pakora (8 pretty small pieces) is Rs 110!! 5. Location 4/5, food 3/5, value for money 3/5, staff behaviour 3/5 (staff aren't rude, just indifferent), amenities 3/5 (24 hr hot water) If location is the only criteria for your stay @ Guwahati, then go for this, else look somewhere else.
