Rhea Safari Lodge - Hotel in Ramnagar, Gorakhpur Moti - Nainital, India

I have been there for 2 Days with Family and found it awesome in every respect. Below are some major points- Service - 5/5, Exceptionally good. Everything is under taken care by owner & his family itself that actually makes a great difference. Cleanliness - 5/5, Exceptionally good. All the Cottages and surroundings are very clean. Food - 5/5, Mouth watering (Opted Breakfast and Dinner). Amenities 5/5 - 24 Hours Running Hot/Cold water, TV, Fridge, Kettle, TT Table, Carom and so on. They have almost every important items under the hood. Parking - 5/5, Inside Hotel Premises (Secured) Ambience - 5/5, Hotel is on Jungle theme Completely Some other points- Every cottage/Machan has two side personal garden and a balcony attached. Complete staff are on toes to help client in every possible ways. It is mentioned in some reviews that the way to hotel is adventurous which makes me confused as I will be travelling to Jim Corbett with my parents and kids. Also I own Maruti Ciaz that has low ground clearance but I want to mention that the way is adventurous but any body can reach hotel easily. I have Jio connection and did not find any single issue in connection there in hotel. Network speed was at its best. Some Recommendations to Lalit Ji - 1) There should be some rides available for the kids. 2) They should include some entertainment in the hotel like (Plat Jungle based short movies daily while bonfire) Thanks Mr. Lalit and Family to make our stay memorable.

I stayed at this resort (cottage # 4) during the long weekend of 14th April, and though I was skeptical initially after reading the location reviews by fellow travellers, I must say it was a memorable weekend. The resort is situated on the outskirts of Ramnagar, adjoining one of the corbett boundries, and is a leisure getaway for people wanting to relax and have a hassel free stay. Though the location is actually not easily accessible, the resort's serene surroundings more than cover up for it. Also, the owner,*** makes sure you reach the place comfortably and personally enquires of the well being of his guests. The food served is of utmost hygine and as tasty as you can ask for, I recommend to book atleast breakfast and dinner with your stay as there is nothing around where you would want to go and eat and with the food quality being served, you would not want to go out and eat. It was a pleasurable stay and my sincere thanks to ** and his family to make this one of our best holidays...

The resort is almost 15 kms from Dikala gatr. Nice and peaceful location. Though its little bit inside still if you like off road driving you will like it too. Food was awesome. However, the cost of food is more. I recommend if you are staying here take full packages which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, take cottage as they are more beautiful and have a private garden next to each cottage. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Amazing Service especially from the owners and his family. They will make you feel as friends and will understand your likes and dislikes. I recommend this to everyone who is in search of peace, tranquillity and nature. This place will grow on you and you will love every bit of food. Amazing food a d service. The best thing I loved was Owner's dedication towards its customers as they dont take their meal before ensuring their guest have eaten

Planning a holiday trip in an extended weekend is not that easy when you start late. The best or the most sought after places are already booked. However it also makes you explore beyond the regular and we were lucky to find this place called Rhea Safari Lodge in the buffer zone of Jim Corbett National Park. It is based in the jungle belt, some 3 to 4km stretch off the main road. So do not bank on GPS guidance for this last stretch of kuchcha road. The good part is that the lodge owners proactively guide you on call and also send their staff member to receive you on the main road and lead you back to the lodge. You feel the warmth of hospitality right from when you enter the reception, in the polite and welcoming nature of the hosts Mr Lalit & his family. The place has both cottages & machans. We stayed in one of the cottages. It was neat, cozy & comfortable. The only thing is that the lighting inside is not too bright, so if you are planning to just relax & read (after dusk) it may slightly strain your eyes. While we did not stay in a machan, we did take a guided sneak peak in one with the hosts. It is a complete piece of woodwork without a single nail in the hinges or joints! The bedroom with a nice balcony is on top while the washroom is in the ground floor connected via an inner staircase. You can opt for machan for that extra element of adventure and don't mind climbing often. The restaurant food is good and they serve both veg & non veg. The best part is that the taste is as good as any decent restaurant offers and yet it has the simplicity of 'ghar-ka-khana' with no over-the-top flavor of masala & layers of oil. The Kosi river is a short walk away from the lodge, so you can enjoy a morning or evening walk there to relish nature's bounty. Or you can indulge yourself in a game of badminton or table tennis for which they have the necessary arrangements (they provide you with rackets & shuttles). The housekeeping staff is mostly young boys who are well behaved, always smiling and eager to help you & make your stay as comfortable as possible. In fact, they even called to check if we were enjoying our trip outside and not stuck anywhere (there was unusually heavy traffic jam in Ram Nagar that day), as we had not returned to have our lunch. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and left with some beautiful memories. This place is surely worth the money you spend. Me & My family stayed there for 2nights in Feb End. The entry to hotel is from Jungle of approx.1Km and that passage itself has made us excited because Resort is exactly next to Jim Corbett Boundary wall. The morning wake up calls by birds and few monkey calls at night made us to know that there is a Leopard pair roam around. Mr.Lalit(Care Taker) & his family is very sweet and supportive, they made us felt like we are at our second home. They have arranged all transits like Station Pickup, Local Tour, Corbet Tour & Nainital Tour. The food is Super delicious and like absolutely home taste. We suggest to have package of breakfast & dinner inclusive. Thanks Rhea Safari Lodge team for our memorable tour.

If you are looking forward to feel and live with Nature then Rhea Lodge would be one of the best place to stay. High expectations will lead to you to lot of discomfort so better to be there if you want peace and Home away Home feeling. The owner and his family is really very good and will help you out with every comfort. Amazing location, Fantastic food.Best suitable for families.

A perfect resort for your weekend. A little off site but that was it's USP. I would rate it 5/5. Starting from the rooms to food it was just perfect. The highlight was food. They also have variety of games. We did not feel like leaving the resort. The service, staff was so friendly and courteous. A perfect gateway. Highly recommended.
