Make sure some schedule is provided online about the startup of the steam engine such that Steam engine enthusiastic people can visit on those particular calendar days. 2. For Toy Train is being run by battery make sure that the miniature Steam Engine is mounted on that. 3.One Miniature Steam Engine is available I felt very happy after noticing that I think in whole India only Rewari workshop is having this kind, but management should take necessary steps to display this in running condition. (If not daily make a schedule and keep it online such that the people who all are interested may attend on those particular days). Overall good place having a vintage collection of Steam Engines....

This museums take us to the glimpse of the days when steam use to be main stay of our railway. This engine have become a thing of past A nice initiative of railway to preserve an important chapter of railway history of india. A nice trip for kids to know about these steam engines. I love to see those steam engine working with steam rushing out and sound of chaps chaps. A must trip for kids. It will take around 1 hours to visit it. Take snap and preserve a part of history in your camera.

Okay firstly, experience was good of course seeing technicians restoring these old steel behemoths. But I would've given 5 stars if I could've seen these locomotives huffing and puffing inside the loco shed as I saw many times in videos. Secondly the biggest downpoint was not being able to see these locomotives huffing and puffing. After asking one of the staff members I was told that if any senior railway officer is scheduled to visit this place only then the locomotives are fired up. It's your lucky day if upon your visit by chance you get to see this spectacle. Otherwise get ready for disappointment. Thirdly, spend only on the entry ticket and film show. Don't spend on any other activity. To reach the shed from Rewari railway station, you need to exit from the back side and not front. From there it's a 1 km walk. Lastly. This place is definitely a must visit. Seeing so many steam locmotives in a loco shed being restored is an experience like no other. You can get to see locmotives open from the front giving you a glimpse of inside it's boilers.
