Worst gym in kanpur south, except machines if we talk in terms of management & administration it is very bad. They charge for every basic things like locker , sipper , bags , steam , stretching , and all basic stuffs they only focus on making money not on members satisfaction. If you take membership for the whole year, then they will treat you very well in the first 1-2 months, after that you do not matter to them. The air conditioner and the lights never come on until you go and say to the reception desk 10 times both these things work perfectly only when a new member comes for enquiry or to see the setup. The trainer's will not pay any attention to you until u pay him for PT's Nd They do not have a single certified trainer's whether he or she is ladies or gents infact those trainer's don't even have good physique & knowledge as well. My Opinion & Experience - If you really want to take care of yr body or having good physique then i suggest to go some other gym it's better than wasting time and money here.

Equipment are very good. Gentry is also good. Staff is cooperative. Steam room is also good. One of the best gym in kanpur south. It also have kitchen and sitting area

Variety of equipments were available. Trainers were also there. Overall good gym in Kidwai nagar.

Gym is good as compared to other nearby gyms. Rate is also not high. 2000pm n 12000 annually. If u r planning to go to anytime fitness saket nagar, i will prefer retro over anytime.

One of the overrated gym in South Kanpur. Management here especially reception area is manipulative. It's better to practise basic rules set in nearby gym and find better gym which have intention and zeal to take care of members as Retro gym is only focussed on making extra money. I can assure you that local gyms in your area would have better ownership skills than this Retro gym. (a) Locker is paid- they are charging for basic thing a person can bring to gym. (b) AC doesn't works unless it's morning shift or evening, which means they wouldn't help until when they see you are suffocating from crowd; don't have windows that can be opened (c) Spa is paid. Even Streching would have to be paid which is different from what mentioned when you enter their place. Makes me wonder what is this gym for, only equipments? Equipments can be availed at any local gym Conclusion- Not worth the money you pay for this place, if you really want to take care of your body find another gym. Even if you look at their past reviews, they have been selectively answering them based what suits them. FYI yearly membership of Gold gym is cheaper that what they offer, and professionalism isn't what you should expect when you enter Retro gym in K block Kanpur. I had a horrible experience and wouldn't recommend anyone as team there is not worth it.

Left after just 5 months of my one year membership! Worst customer experience in the gym!

The steam service that they promised works rarely, Most of the time it's not working. There is only one trainer on floor who is also not very interested to help, only asking for pts. The group classes that they promised,that also does not happen.
