Reknacc River Viewpoint - Tourist attraction in Rachol - South Goa, India

A bit scruffy with rubbish but not too bad. Spotted a Kingfisher and the eels he was catching. Nothing here apart from the views.

I love this place. It's a great place to sit by the river, turn your mind off and just imbibe the atmosphere. It's quintessential Goan, football, fishing, church you get an old world feel. The metal benches have corroded a long ago but they do make for a good photograph. My friend and i go cycling often to this place, find a place to sit and watch as people go about their business. Young boys playing football while others are fishing. Haven't seen much activity of boats ply in the river. No food stalls here, no grocery shops just the river, people and you.

The lunch is good however the food takes too long, and it's best placing the entire order in 1 go

Nice, quite and clean place with great view

Calm serene and picturesque place to sit by all alone or with friends and watch by nature at any point of time. Each time has its view, colours and noise. Say, early afternoons it would be quiet and silent while by evening children enjoy swimming in the waters while some quietly fish by the riverside.

A serene and off beat location in goa. Time well spent here.

Used to come here as a kid..not a lot has changed ..however there is a ship wreckage that we saw on our latest visit. Overall a nice place to hang out at in the evenings..you can even fish in the nearby area.

I had the pleasure of visiting this river viewpoint at night with a friend, and it was a truly peaceful and relaxing experience. The spot was situated in a serene location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and it provided us with a much-needed break from the daily routine. The view of the river was breathtaking, and the tranquility of the surroundings made it a perfect spot for spending some quality time with a friend. We enjoyed the cool breeze, the sound of water flowing, and the silence of the night, which made the experience very calming and rejuvenating.
