The Regional Science Centre, Guwahati, is a great place to spend some time with friends/family. First when you enter, you walk pas a beautiful garden. there on the right side you will find 2 models. It is advisable to read the information boards in front of the models. Then you will enter the main building. It has many exhibits. You can even enjoy a planetarium or 3D show or even ans SOS(Science On a Sphere, not Science Of Stupid) show. Then there is a park which has a few basic models with great science in them. And the overall greenery of the park makes it a great place to be in. In addition to that there is a botanical garden, an aquarium and a prehistoric park. They also keep some rabbits and birds.

The place is great but sometimes some exhibits aren't working. But this situation is rare.
...explored the vibrant park, fun mirrors, science games & aquarium. I had a fun way to enlighten & recapitulate about science again. Highly recommended for high school students as biology, physics & chemistry topics can be seen practically here. Parking fees for vehicle is there which i think should be free.

This is the best place in Guwahati for children as there are so many things to learn from. Starting from bio machines, the history section, the physics section or even the chemistry section. They have kept everything in such a way that the children could also learn and at the same time get the knowledge of various topics. Over all it is a highly recommended place to visit.
