Regenta Resort Exotica Dharamshala on Hilltop - Resort hotel in Khanyara, Tahu - Kangra, India

Ageing property but very well maintained. Everything works as it should. Location gives panoramic view of whole Dharamshala and more. Staff is courteous, reasonable and honest. Food at the restaurant was tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. They even called me in my room to check if I will use restaurant one night as it was getting closer to closing time. I guess little bit of renovation may take this one to exceptional level.

Location was good and the rooms were spacious and well maintained. They have gaming room and swimming pool which is good for family fun and enjoyment. I stayed here with my family and relatives and stay was okay with mixed feeling. Staff near swimming pool was rude at the beginning when we asked for some drinks but later on they served whatever we have asked and we enjoyed our self family Karaoke there. Gaming room and Gym doesn't have AC so it is difficult to play here for long duration in summers. You may get suffocated feeling after sometime due to lack of ventillation and cooling in gaming room. Morning breakfast was good with limited options but the worst part is that the dessert they served (donuts and cakes) had fungus on it. We realized it after eating 2-3 piece which left a very bad impression. Staff also accepted the fungus on the cake. Overall mixed feeling with good rooms and location but bad service and facilities.

It was a great stay.The owner of resort is such a humble and helping person. The views from the resort are amazing. All the services are great. I had the best time.

This hotel is beautiful, clean, and has amazing views. Definitely recommend staying here!! Miss Jagriti Thakur, Mr. Ayush, and Mr. Rohit we're very accommodating and understanding to our needs and will definitely hope to see them again when we come back:)

This luxury resort is located 1 km away from Indrunag temple and a paragliding point in Dharamshala. But this resort is only to enjoy and relax with family n friends. No other tourist attraction is there like local market, eateries. You have to have full time vehicle available with you to take you out for movement as this place is isolated.

Pathetic Food at exorbitant prices. Since there are no restaunts nearby so they are looting customer. Just to give am idea "Plain Tawa Roti" was charged at Rs 80 (Fortune Moksha, a 4 star hotel charged us Rs 65 for same). Balcony door of our room was broken so couldn't be locked. Hotel location is great though.

Food taste was not upto the mark. Otherwise good hotel overall. They gave very good deal and extended 1 night because of heavy rain.

I recently stayed at this resort, and I have to say it was a terrible experience. From the moment I arrived, I noticed the place was not well maintained. The pool was full of mosquitoes, making it impossible to swim. The rooms were dirty and poorly equipped, with broken furniture and dirty sheets. The staff was unprofessional and unhelpful, showing no interest in providing good customer service. Overall, I would not recommend this resort to anyone. It was a complete waste of time and money.
