Regant Lake Palace Hotel - Hotel in Kollam, Chavara - Kollam, India

Regant Lake Palace Hotel is a hidden gem. Many years ago, I came here for a wedding. I immediately fell in love with the ambience. Now I come here to have drinks with my friends - There's an Executive Bar here. The service is quite good. But nothing comes close to its lake view. I wonder why this place isn't crowded yet.

One of the best Hotels in Kollam, the ambience and quality of service are great. I've experienced their Executive Bar and Kitchen which are very good. Rooms are clean and has all the amenities. Many rooms have a good view of the lake also. They also have large hall where you can conduct programs and a space for dining large pax. The staffs are true professionals and always checking our convenience at many times. The location is 10 kilometres away from the city centre but it's easy to reach.

We went to eat at Regant Lake Palace Hotel. It is a 4 STAR hotel. We had food here. The food was very spicy, the fish curry was quite spicy and fried fish was undercooked . We had beef curry it was very chewy. The veg fried rice was good. There were very little dessert choices. We ordered fruit salad but they offered us some cut fruits without custard. The ice cream was stale and not properly refrigerated. We requested for a finger bowl but instead of a bowl with hot water and lemon we received a bowl of cold water with a piece of lemon. They could improve their service and food quality. You would not believe that it is a 4 Star restaurant. It is not pet friendly and asked us to keep the dog in the car. I would not recommend this place if you want to have non veg or fish.

Just avg for me.Rooms are not so good for a luxury hotel.Rooms are not maintained well. bathroom floors were dirty,by the looks haven't mopped for a while.Didnt got an extra bed and drinking water when asked for.

Excellent location. Very good service by staff.

To be honest, the rooms were average, there are a couple of things around there like swings but we are not going to spend a lot time over there Food : Expensive and no taste at all , no quality and quantity Not sure why they are doing something like this. By maintaining that area they could have attracted a lot of tourists. Such an amazing area with a bunch of people who have no idea what to do. To the owners : bring some light arrangements to the pool area, bringing something new won't work, try to maintain the things that are currently over there Expensive rooms are not worth paying that much. In such a manner i will not recommend this place

It's a big property but very badly maintained ... even if it's the highest category rooms it's not kept well ... it's in a good location and staffs are supportive !

Restaurant quality of food is good. Take care when u order BDF couple of times i get over fried. Later on request they made good one.
