Owner is a low life, a "taporee". I had my bag locked in my room. He forced the zipper of my bag with the ballpoint method when I was out. Now my zipper is messed up. Keep your filthy hands off my belongings! UPDATE You have "no record". Well, I have proof of a messed up zipper. Keep your hands of the customers belongings. Furthermore, the first night I switched the lights off when I went out. From outside the building I saw that someone switched the lights on in my room. Ghosts?
It was very nice staying at RD Lodge for almost 2 weeks. Very reasonable price, a single room with bathroom & toilet attached. The owner is very friendly and always ready to help. You don't have to worry about safety as the corridors and staircase are under CCTV surveillance, and no visitors are allowed. For the price you are paying, please don't expect 3-stars hotel rooms. I am satisfied with RD Lodge for being budget friendly at the same time showing great hospitality, giving me a peaceful state of mind with no tension which is very important for travellers.
Room was quite average as per the price. But in washroom the toilet cistern was not working.
Affordable room rent, cleanliness, safety and friendly manager are the key features of RD lodge. If anybody looking for a lodge around ISBT, Guwahati, I would recommend him/her to stay here. You'll have a good experience for sure!
1200 for 1 night is extremely high price for such a poor quality bedroom.
As my personal experience, it is one of the best hotel to stay. Especially the manager Mr. Debasish is of kind & helpful nature. Thank you very much.
The receptionist I found it fine and cordial.No AC but served by ceiling fan well.One advantageous thing is near at ISBT and walking distance from this hotel.
Bad infrastructure and bad behaviour of reception staff Response for owner reply: I came here. But before checkin I checked room it's not good. And your staff's behaviour also not good, he was lazy to do. He also told "rooms are too bad, we have all rooms like this only. please try other hotel." Then I got better room in another hotel lower than your rate. It's not fake review. I took photos also untiled floors.
