Raw Native - Modern Indian restaurant in Surat - Surat, India

Ambience was good. Food was even better. & You have multiple options for sitting. Overall really.good experience.

I will dive right into the foremost issue of Raw Native. I could have given four stars, but the reason behind the three stars is the quantity of food. I've (literally) never seen an amount like this in my entire life that Raw Native has to offer. The portion size of the soup blew me away. You could complete the soup in 4-5 full normal-size spoons. So, it's like we can share the soup with anyone else (the size of the soup bowl can be seen in the picture). Furthermore, we ordered Hummus with Crispy Naan, and it can also be seen in the picture how ridiculously less the portion this restaurant is serving. Then the same thing happened in the main course: not enough quantity. Now, talking about the taste, I wouldn't say that it was exceptional and something everyone must try. The restaurant is way too expensive in terms of portions it offers compared to its competitors. A five-star restaurant serves way more portion sizes than Raw Native, regardless of the price we pay. I liked the place's ambience, but that only thing wouldn't cut down on what I mentioned above. The restaurant owner is so heavily focused on cutlery and fancy dishes that they forget to pay attention to what the head chef is serving their customers. If this continues, I won't see a long future for the restaurant. I won't strongly recommend it, but I'm neutral (50-50). It's up to one choice if they want to visit Raw Native. Excellent place to eat. The ambience is wonderful, however the food flavor and service might be better. The menu is really expensive, and the drinks are not much satisfying. I advise going once to Try different taste. It was worthwhile to try the Aglio e Olio, enchiladas and ghewar chole chaat. It was okay, lemon soda. Overall, excellent encounter! The menu is quite creative

Very poor experience. I came here for the second or third time but this is my last . Two main reasons 1) the chef has changed. Due to which the texture, taste, portion size has changed for bad. For eg: the naan in hummus with crispy naan is not at all crispy. Originally it used to be thin and crispy. Now it is thick n rubbery. Horrible. This is just one example. We faced this with all 4 items we ordered. 2) the staff doesn't give any privacy to the couple. They keep coming repeatedly to ask for menu n plates. Only 4 tables were occupied in the restaurant and they didn't have enough menu cards even. Every two minutes they'll disturb you with something or the other. Overall I'm very disappointed. I brought my date here and I regret it. Chole gevar chat is overhyped. Waste of money. We skipped on the dessert coz we didn't want to waste any more money.

Food is very delicious and service too good. Tandoori Bagels sandwich and Crispy Aubergine must try items.

Great restaurant to visit. Ambience is amazing, photo click worthy. We had ordered 4 items. Garlic mini buns were average. Ghewar chole chaat and rasam Vada were worthy to try. Lemon soda was ok. Overall great experience!! Will visit again

Thanx Raw Native to giving us such a great Delicious food and a familiar services. Ambience was so nice like such a Native touch. There wall painting is so awesome and hanging light is so creative. Try over there Rasgulla Makhni, Beetroot Kofta, Pav Bhaji with Burrata, Guacamole Collegian, Cheak pie Crepe , Lasooni Paneer Tikka, Palak Burrata, Chetinad with appam, Idiyappam, Mini Uttapam with Sambhal and Mouth Watering Paan Kulfi.

One of the best place in surat to consume organic food! Highly recommended! Must visit!
