1. The Caretaker is the most kind and friendly person. 2. The cleaner is very sincere and good in work. 3. There is one assistant to the caretaker who is very kind also. 4. The room is situated in a location that is great for my Yoga work. 5. I am very happy here.

They've not any room service or house keeping. Public toilet is better than their bathroom. You can see only one guy in reception. Worthless. Full of mosquitoes.

Very poor. Toilet door lock do not work. AC do not have cooling effect. Walls have patch marks. Toilet was not clean. TV remote does not work. Overhaul service is below standard.

Excellent rooms while staff behavior is also good. Rooms and bedsheets are cleaned Only owner can speak English. Food was average. Heater doesnt work. Washing machine is Karab. Overall a good experience.

The worst experience ever in room and reception. The washroom was leaking and entire floor was wet. Set too box stand broken. Hotel refused to honour online payment booking and has to pay again. No waiting area.

Ratnakar Days Inn is located near Ballygunge Science college. It is located by the side of the main road which is difficult to miss, but unfortunately you may miss it as the owner didn't put much effort in putting up proper display board or the Oyo sign to grab attention. The inn is 4 storied and has enough accommodation. I visited the place for a overnight stay and was given a room at the ground floor. The room was small, with bare necessities. There is a AC which though keeps the room cool, but is old, outdated, with broken grills and in dire need of some maintenance. The room has a low ceiling, thus you won't find any ceiling fan there. There is however a wall fan mounted, but it is angled at awkward position that it could only provide wind at a very small area of the bed. There is a TV which is small, but works nevertheless. The washroom are clean and suprisingly spacious, but the bathroom fittings will hurt you with their unrestricted water force. The bed is comfortable. The towels are clean. Overall an average experience. Could have given 2.5, half ratings deducted due to the behaviour of the owner, which seemed very unwelcoming and rude, not attuned to what you are used to in hospitality business.

The reason for five star rating is obviously price, service and warm hospitality. If you are in Kolkata and looking for some best mid range stay, this place is for you. Located in the heart of Kolkata city. My 4 day stay was fantastic. Would love to come back.

Poor customer reception. No waiting hall. Had to sit under a tightly packed tin roof cafeteria. Again had to rebook and retake a cab for a different property. First impression failed. NEVER TRY THIS if u have an early flight/train to Kolkata.
