This is a special place for the people of Bilaspur. The people have lots of faith in Mahamaya Devi. The temple is like any other temple in India. Its a serene place, though on weekends its is crowded. Lots of shops outside for holy material for your prayers. Temples are well built but the ponds in the vicinity are quite dirty and not well maintained. Parking is a also an issue, best time to visit is early hours in the morning. The Road to the temple is in building phase therefore quite bit of dust there. But overall its s nice place if you are a devotee and have faith in Devi.

Peaceful plece.. Every time. I have feel alone.. Goes to this place... Very good and superb place. It's just 25 km. From bilaspur. Many places thier to visit lyk girjavan mandir, ramtekri mandir, gaj kila, khutaghat dam. Goes onec their with frnds and family.. Superb feeling

Mahamaya Temple, Built in the 12-13th century. It is said to be located at the spot where king Ratnadeva had a darshan of goddess Kali. You will feel the energy there, inside the temple a beautiful water fountain apart from that you can also visit the PRASADALAYA area you need to pay 20/- INR only for PRASAD. Temple only 30 kilometer's away from Bilaspur City.

Beautiful temple complex and cleaned and well maintained. Historical place. Must visit it. We have spent two hours here. If you are in Bilaspur then you must visit this temple. It is a very old and famous temple of Bilaspur. The idol of Goddess MahaMaya devi is worshipped here. During navratri this temple is very crowded. Jai Maa Mahamaya

It is a must visit for every person who is coming to Bilaspur city and to take blessings of Ma Mahamaya. The temple is maintained by a trust and is very will maintained , during the time of Nav-ratri the temple is flooded with peoples / locals for Darshan and offering special pujas. People also walk whole night from Bilaspur city to Ratanpur in respect of mother and to offer puja in the temple.
