Ratanmahal Sloth Bear Sanctuary - Wildlife park in Kanjeta - Dohad, India

Monsoon bliss at its best with gushing waterfall and trek by the river on the hill made my weekend amazing. The pathway is quite rocky and tough for beginners but the waterfall at the tops makes it worth the efforts. Don't miss out taking a dip in the pool of the waterfall. the rocks might be slippery due to algae so be very careful. Don't carry any plastic as its a plastic prohibited zone.

Yes worth visiting here, the atmosphere the nature is at its peak if you are a nature lover. The centre of attraction here is the waterfall which is approximately 3kms from the main gate of sanctuary and the view and the waterfall itself is splendid. There are two places nearby to visit too they are 1) Table top - for photoshoot and the view from the top 2) lake near Udhal mahuda - its surrounded by the mountain and the village is nearby from this lake, the area is so grand that you can easily do a campsite.

A beautiful, remote location with some amazing wildlife and scenic forest. Loved our recent visit. I'll visit again. Love for Ratanmahal

That's the only view you will see after driving 10 kms of rough terrain via your car. Not a genuine worthy but can do once.

Nice place to visit after monsoon. If you like nature, waterfall, jungle,tracking then this is right cool place. You need to walk and track up and down for about 4 Kms. in the woods to reach waterfall but it worth. You should physically fit. Forest dept. of Gujarat provide booking for tent house if you want to stay. There's also hotel.

Ratanmahaal is really a very beautiful place. Best time to visit is monsoon.( August-Sept).The Sanctuary is open from around 8AM to 6PM. Waterfall is in the Jungle. You'll have to walk for 2-3km. You should wear good trekking shoes for the Jungle walk. You should Carry food and water with you (from home).No proper Shops nearby this area. Enjoy your trip.

Ratanmahal is a bear sanctuary I have share some pictures of the jungle I have visited, unfortunately I haven't seen any bear in the jungle but the nature of the jungle is too good. I really enjoyed the trip and walking into the jungle. If you planned with a group, u will enjoy here. You can take awesome photoshoot if you love photography.

Good place for natural beauty. Have 5 kms track to reach the waterfall and back. A bit rough track, would be better to wear shoes. Food is OK. Tent facility is available to stay overnight. Drive is beautiful to sanctuary after rains and roads are good.
