Rasikas Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Salem - Salem, India

It has always been one of my favourite restaurant in Salem. This time I tried their Hyderabad chicken boneless and it was so yummy. They have a very unique taste in all the dishes which makes them unique. Their service has been equally good and the prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants.

Ordered Mutton Biriyani, Mutton Leg Soup , Mutton Pepper Fry Mutton Biriyani Tasted Great Mutton Leg Soup , Mutton Pepper Fry Was Made With Proper Spices And Were Pretty Decent They Focus On Chicken And Sea Food Items Mutton Varities Are Limited In Menu Total Bill Was Rs 790

There's a great hype about this restaurant in Salem so i decided to make a visit. Ambiance is not so great as most of the part in the restaurant is super dusty like they haven't cleaned it for decades. Waiter came to me and forced me to speak local language, when i informed him I don't know local language he struggled with broken English mixing local language ( Tamil) . I ordered him Mutton Fried Rice , Chicken Lollipop and a pet bottle of Pepsi . I got shocked to see my order A mutton biryani was delivered to me . When i asked that waiter I ordered mutton fried rice not biryani , he said ohhh no problem next time sir Is this the way to apology? All the waiters were looking at and gossiping and laughing. I felt so humiliating. Let's come to food I never had such tasteless briyani ever in my life this was not even a biryani . Biryani supposed to be full of flavours with quality basmati rice , don't know what are you serving? Look at the Lollipop , it's more simple fried chicken than lollipop. It was just worst experience ever. Never visiting ever. Food 1/5. Service 1/5 Ambiance. 2/5

Recently visited this place Mutton soup was world class - Rs 130 Mutton briyani - Rs 300 quite expensive Chicken briyani normal and low quantity Tandoori was ok you can try

Totally waste of money. Too much oily. They are providing AC dinning hall. Even additional charges are also charging. But never on the AC. FOOD IS TOO MUCH OILY. NOT AT ALL GOOD FOR KIDS AND AGED PEOPLE. SERVICE IS NOT AT ALL CLEAN. EVERYWHERE HOUSE FLYES ARE FLYING. ATMOSPHERE LOOKING GOOD. BUT NO MAINTENANCE.

We tried their tandoori chicken...it was not good...and also we try their rumali roti and pallipalayam chicken gravy...and rumali roti is not that much of soft...but their gravy tastes too good...and its quantity also high sufficient for 3 peoples and their chicken briyani also good Tandoori chicken - /5 Rumali Roti - /5 Pallipalayam chicken gravy - /5 Chicken briyani - /5

Food was nice. Price is also reasonable. One disappoint is that washroom is not good at all. It is very bad
