Raravies - Restaurant in Mattannur - Kannur, India

Near kannur airport you don't have so many food options. This is one of the ok-ok hotel near airport. Taste is not great, but ok.. Service to be improved, waiter is not friendly to the customers

Good food with reasonable price. Washroom and handwash facilities is not good though

We had plate shawarma and alfam. Both were below average. Alfam was so oily. Unhygienic way for serving food by the server with his bare hand's

I visited Raravies with high expectations but was disappointed with the slow service and inattentive staff. The food was good but not great. The restaurant is located on Kannur - Mattannur road, It is easy to find and has ample parking space. The ambiance was good with a decent seating arrangement. The restaurant has a good variety of dishes on their menu. I ordered a few dishes and found them to be okay. The food was not as flavorful as I expected it to be. The service was slow and the staff was inattentive. They took a long time to take our order and bring the food to our table. Overall, I would give Raravies 3 stars. It is not a bad place to eat but it is not a great place either. The food is okay, service was slow. The ambiance was good but the slow service ruined the experience.

1. Food was not good. Purchased biriyani. Unlike hotels in Thalassery and kannur who give good Biriyani this hotel Biriyani was not good at all. Had tried from Ajwa, MRA, Omars, Paris etc they were all very good. 2. The service was good no question or doubt on that.

It's more for non vegetarians. Very limited choice for vegetarians. Only Chinese was available for lunch. We had to just settle with a Paratha and curd as we just didn't have any choice and we were running against time for our flight

After our Wayanad trip today 14-Nov-23 we took IndiGo flight to Bangalore. The taxi driver suggested "Raravies" for lunch. We ordered beef biryani, it was so good. I took a beef fry parcel and kept it in the cabin bag. All thru the flight journey to Bangalore the aroma lingered. I think it's a decent place to have a tasty meal before taking a flight from Kannur or after landing in Kannur airport.
