This place is a highly commercial place meant for shops like shoe shops, pen shops, book stores, etc. The road connects to the old building of Nyay Mandir to Raopura. It has an old clock on the top of the tower.

This place is a landmark place for Baroda's one of the famous market places. You can get good quality clothes, school uniforms and footwear. Lots of options for food items. Famous Dhuliram sweet shop is also nearby.

The Maharani Chimnabai tower (Raopura Tower) was erected in 1896 in the memory of the queen (1864-1885). It is said that the funds for the construction were collected as a contribution from the citizens of the city. The tower was inaugurated by the last Nawab of the city, Mir Kamaluddin Hussainkhan.
