A true "fort hotel" in every sense. The service of every staff member was impeccable. Truly amazing. Abhishek , Sumer and Omkar were just amazing staff members , as was everyone else, i just don't remember all their names. It's beautifully decorated , stunningly lit . All you hear are the sounds of the water and the birds. The fort , the art inside it, the walls around the fort , feeding the eagles and just being there was an amazing experience. Amazing vision for the space and amazing staff that have managed to pull it all together. I must also add the food was delicious.

Rajasthan is known for its hospitality. This place proves the point yet again . A little away from popular places, so the place is offbeat. Very very beautiful, it's like living in a small ancient city but with all the luxuries. Food and service was top notch . Our infant loved it to the t. Highly recommended if you love good aesthetics, good food and quaint places.

Did not stay at the hotel so would not comment on the rooms - the property looked lovely and it is a beautiful heritage location. The fort visit was also outstanding. However sadly the restaurant was just not up to the mark. Most items using charcoal or tandoor were not available so we had to order simple cafe style food, a sandwich and a kathi roll. The sandwich was below average, dry and the sad experience ended with me finding a hair. The kathi roll was very salty and the Paratha was chewy, too thick, overly oily. Spoke with the chef and staff who apologised but had no explanations as to why a stunning hotel would offer such a bad experience at high prices. Disappointing when we had made a detour just to visit the fort and have lunch there. Hope it gets better again in the future.

Supersonic and fantastic Food,staff and everything

Ranvas hotel in Nagaur Fort is a must for its perfect location between other hot spots, food such as delicious freshly cooked sabzis, garlic naan and appetizers, and the yummiest pasta, and most of all for the experience. The hotel is made of several havelis which house beautiful rooms and magical outdoor seating. The best part were the two tours that are included with a stay at the hotel. First, we went on a 1.5 hour tour with a very knowledgeable guide who spoke both Hindi and English and my teenage children also found it fascinating to see the incredible conservation and restoration work, the marvels of engineering to conserve and reuse water with sloping aqueducts, hammam baths, gardens, and water tanks. We also learned how some mahals were cooled in hot weather through ingenious water flow systems, wind towers, fans, and numerous windows. In the middle of the tour, the hotel staff very thoughtfully brought water for us to drink. The Fort with its mahals is one of a kind in Rajasthan and not to be missed as compared to other forts, it is quieter, more mysterious, and very authentic. After the first tour, we went on a second one all along the well preserved ramparts and prayed at the Hindu temple build into the ramparts. We saw the setting sun and a view of Nagaur city. We are so glad we stayed at this wonderful hotel and highly recommend it to everyone.

A stunning location and surroundings. A most welcome break from staying in corporate hotels and a unique way to experience living in your own fort. Easily the best place we have stayed in, with exceptional service and excellent food.

One of best hotel for foreigners stay with very fine qualities of Food And Beverages and sublime view of Fort and their hospitality of paramountancy. Best heritage place of Nagaur city. Etiquettes of waiters was of high sophistication, very welly dressed and behaviour at most priority. Really hats off to you guys.

This place is definitely worth the trip. The fort and surrounding buildings are a peaceful island in the middle of Nagaur. The hotel is impeccably and tastefully restored from the Wives' Havellis. The huge amount of restoration work has been professionally completed by skilled and qualified people - a far cry from the usually sorry efforts of the Archeological Survey of India. Definitely do the fort tour and the rampart walk. The service and food are immaculate. Room A1 is huge - probably one of the largest. Other rooms are normally fairly bijou, but very comfortable. This is one for the bucket list.
