It was a disappointing experience. ,3 safaris, 3 difficult zones - zone 1, zone 3 and zone 6, we spotted nothing more than spotted deer and sambar deer, some peacocks. There wasn't anything else of note, saw pugmarks but no sightings of tigers either. Guide Mustak Ahmed was the absolute worst, kept saying we're not seeing the tiger cuz we're thinking about the tiger lol, way to be a "guide". Terrible experience. Response to owner - changing a guide midway safari isn't possible firstly. Secondly, we had 2 other professional guides which I haven't written about, I've specifically taken this name due to his incompetence and rather lowly behaviour. Not only are your guides experts, but the guides with us through Gir, Kaziranga, Nagarhole etc have all been thorough experts and we've had sightings there. Nobody has ever said thinking of a tiger will lead to not seeing a tiger. Pathetic response. After paying for 3 safaris- gypsy as well as canter + release charges, you want to extort more money for guide change lol.
The 1st we visited Ranthambore for a vacation and tiger Safari it was a tad mixed experience. We booked online safari from Delhi through an agent who committed he will give us between zone 1-6 but once the payment was done he gave us zone 8 nd then refused to change it. We went in zone 8 for the morning safari and it was totally barren no greenery nothing. No dense forest either. We could not spot any tiger. There is a hill top type view point where we clicked pictures and that was nice. Zone 7 nd 8 nd 9 have the least probablity of tiger spotting If u want more adventure take a gypsy rather than a canter. Gypsy takes 6 people and they give you a pick and drop from the hotel. Canter takes 20 people has more height. There are many agents sitting to book safari but not everyone is genuine. Make sure u get better zones like 1, 2, 3, 6 are considered good nd 3 the best buy then you need to book atleast 2-3 months in advance. Agent will charge you around rs 1700 for one person for safari and otherwise on the national park official site it's 1240 around for a gypsy. Canter charges online are around 800 and agent charges around 1300.
The tiger reserve is seriously so awesome the fauna and flora of the national park is so nice and the safari is so amazing . Rates Gypsy around 20-30k And for canter around (16seater) 500-1500 rs per person i prefer to book canter before 7 days of visit . Preferable zone for safari Zone 2 for morning Zone 3 for evening slot

I have visited zone 2 of this national park and in search of a tiger we found only deer, saambhar, cheetal and peacock; but I am so glad to have seen the natural scenery in this jungle Safari. Zone 3 is considered to be the best in early summers
Ranthambore National Park Zone 3 spotted Tiger n Tigress. Very lucky to witness the presence of Tiger n Tigress just in front of us. We are extremely luck to spot the same. A nice experience to be at the park. Do prefer afternoon slot in winters.
D place to fill all the wild excitement. Watching a tiger bear eyes is so thrilling that at time you forget to breath. This place is so beautifully amazing that one definitely plans to revisit. But it is all about one's destiny if he or she will get to see TIGER. We went twice and one once we got to see that near the river in the early morning ride, which starts at 6am.
India's most beautiful Tiger Reserve. Divided in 10 zones. Each zone has different topography and every zone has rich and diverse Bio-diversity.
