Rann Utsav is celebrated every year by Gujarat Tourism starating end of November till New Year's February. This festival is also called as the White Desert Festival. Spread over a vast 7,505 sqkm, the Great Rann of Kutch lies in the heart of the Thar Desert, touching Pakistan's Sind Province on one side, and making it the largest salt marsh in the world. Rann Utsav extends over three months, bringing together local artisans, performers, musicians and folk artists in an attempt to recreate the state's rich culture. Rann Utsav promotes natural beauty and other famous traveling places of the stunning zone of Kutch. During the full moon nights in the winter season, the white sand desert looks more mesmerizing. White sand desert is world's eye-catching destination, where tourists from many countries visit during November till the end of February and it's rightly said that "Kutch Nai Dekha To Kuch Nahi Dekha".

Very beautiful views and sight seeing. White desert looks amazing. Many sports activities can also be performed here like para gliding etc. Many cultural events are there. You can feel the authenticity of the culture here. It was really a very good memories here. Very good place to be visit with family and friends as well. Tent city is very beautiful and we can find many types of tents as per our need with all facilities available. You must have visit once atleast.

It's a beautiful and the best place to be when in December. The white desert is a must have experience when you visit Gujarat. It is one of a kind and is still in its developing stage. Although this year when I went the colour wasn't exactly white..it started to pale as there was less rain to wash off the dust. There are several packages provided by the government private parties. Lots of tents are available and everything is on a sky high prices.

The most beautiful place to see in Kutch. Don't forget to miss the mesmerizing sunset view and the sun really looks big. The place is just a pleasure to your eyes. Also don't forget to experience the camel ride there for just Rs 50.

Lovely experience to have. Live atmosphere. White rann looks amazing. Hospitality is at it best. Delicious food (won't miss non-veg). Spending time in tents is very unique experience. Totally enjoyed it.

The Rann Festival is good you could ask from tourism and cultural perspective. Superb location, good service and lots of activities. One of the best parts of the festival was the promotion of local handicrafts. Shops displaying various crafts made by the natives which is amazing. Pleasant to see tent city and fair experience . Kids loves to be there .

It's a good tourist experience with cultural programs, good food, games and lots of places to pose but too expensive! One night stay is enough to see the whole place and experience everything that they have to offer. You could stay in some other private company tents for more days if you wish as those are way cheaper than the official tent city.

It's a Fantasy World far away from civilization. Yes it is, a different experience altogether to visit this location extremely away from civilized atmosphere. Good destination to visit and explore, however extremely overpriced for each and everything. Right from shopping items to food to an accommodation, everything has more than premium rates despite of the quality of these products is below average.
