If you want to buy pure gold, don't want to be cheated and want a stress free shopping experience never buy from Ranka Jewellers they are big cheaters... Do not buy gold from them... I bought a vedhni (a pure gold wire in a form of a ring) from them in emergency as I wanted to purchase on the auspicious occasion of Gudhi Padwa 2022 and the vedhni design of motichur was only available with Ranka and none other gold shops on Laxmi road, since I ended up purchasing from them and this year when I wanted to add another 5gms of gold to the same vedhni design, none of the jeweller on Laxmi road was willing to accept gold bought from Ranka Jewellers which was fishy for me and lastly when I went to give the ring on 17th March 2023 and get the money at Ranka Jewellers, they took my gold ring and gave me a cheque which would be cleared after 3 days. On questioning for instant cash they denied saying it is a government rule we cannot make any cash transactions... what kind of a government rule is this that while purchasing you take instant money and also accept it in cash and while giving it back you don't do cash transaction? Also they totally denied for IMPS/NEFT/RTGS transactions saying it is not their policy and was trying to fool us around saying it is a government rule... Their policy is only to use people's money and cheat them. They kept my gold, gave me a cheque and used my money for 3 days(in that 3 days gold price also increased which benefited them also they used my money without interest) before it came to me... totally useless service and their policies. And I was surprised because the so called owner Shreyas Ranka said this and didn't even bother to solve this matter understanding the concern that I urgently wanted the money and was acting as if it's none of his business. This jeweller should understand that people but gold as a liquid cash and if there's some emergency and you need funds then jewellers like him don't care about it... hence if you want to do a smooth transaction do not buy or shop with Ranka Jewellers as they are just cheating people in multiple ways
