I happen to visit during my stay in Ranikhet. It's very old British bunglow with wooden flooring. A big billiards room is here with old style chairs. A large size sitting area with a fireplace. Rooms are very comfortable. Food quality is very high, staff is very polite & helpful. I will love to stay here during my next trip to Ranikhet.
This place has it's own Aura. 19th century building, very well maintained, great peaceful location, nice food and great service by the staff.
This a British Era institution, which with the inherent local politiking and resultant systematic deprivation has lost its erstwhile glory. At present it's just a convenient marriage complex, and that too with inadequate infrastructure. The place lacks proper garbage disposal system. Each party is followed by abandoning of smelly discards at the backyard inside the pristine deodar forest. The caretaker, Mr. Joshi is a joyful person and always available in the compound itself. However; the rooms are crampy, lounge, billards room, bar and restaurant ill maintained. The food is great though, and the outdoor sitting site fantabulous. While looking at the derelict cement tennis court, one can scarcely believe that this place once had 8 courts and the first Indian ever to win a grand slam match practised here. The local Brigade commander holds the defacto president ship of the club, don't know why. But that has been a further impediment to the club's progress.
A Heritage property with great views and good food. If you are eligible must stay for one night.
It was a day visit to this beautiful place, as I always like this place ideal for business meet, Hangout with family friends, food is amazing, the best part is the location, one can enjoy the entire day doing nothing. I must recommend Ranikhet club for food, drink and accommodation,and service with smile.

It was an amazing stay. Rooms were super cool with all the amenities. Hospitality was good. Overall a very good experience with a vintage and 5star feel. I will recommend you this place if you are nearby to Ranikhet.

One of the oldest and best softy/ice cream shop at Ranikhet. The gentleman who owns the shop is a very sweet old man. They make the softy from pure milk and it tastes far better than the ones u get at Mc Donald's....in multiple flavours. If u visit R
Somnath Dwar is the war memorial dedicated to Major Somanth Sharma. He was the atmy officer and the first receipent of PVC. Somnath Dwar also has Parade Ground for the training of Indian Army recruits in the Kumaon Regiment. No entry free. Salute t
Aloo in mix veg was properly cooked with I loved. Butter Tandoori roti was butterly delicious & soft. & Masala dosa is delicious too. Fast service, Great food & quality. So I can say thatvall menu is great to have!
Entry ticket cost is Adult 75 & Child 50. Photography is not allowed inside. Full history of both Naga and Kumaon Regiment is displayed here. The place is full of GYAN. YOU need atleast 5 hours to read all what is displayed there.
Loved the food. They're experts in crafting delicious and traditional meals. Not only are they hygienic but also they maintain the healthy standards among the dishes. My experience was fantastic. Must visit to explore such yummiest food on a budget.
