Rani rashmoni ghat - Tourist attraction in Kanchrapara - 24 Paraganas North, India

This place is named after Rani Rashmoni. Halisahar is the birth place of Rani Rashmoni. This beautiful temple have been founded to keep the memories of Rani Rashmoni. The architecture of the temple somewhere similar to Dakhineswar. The atmosphere of this place beside Ganges is very pleasant. People can ride boat in the beautiful hoogly river for reasonable price to spend some beautiful time. This place is also famous for Fuchka Para which is near of this Rani Rashmoni ghat. Here you can have a lot of varieties of Fuchkas. A must visit place .

Recent times this place creates a new attraction for Fuchka lovers. There you find "fuchka para" which is very famous. From 4pm-8:30pm they sells varieties of fuchka, which may not be heard , please try once, also it's very affordable as compared to general town area's fuchka . how to go? From Kanchrapara(KPA) station --- then--- one Toto Rickshaw/Auto to 'BAG More'-----then---another Toto Rickshaw/Auto to 'RANI RASMONI GHAT'... you may go direct Toto/auto to destination from the stn.

Good place to visit with friends, family or your loved ones. The area is called "fuchka para (phuckaa paadd'aa)", where you can have a lot of varities of fuchkaa. The sunset at the river side looks fantastic. There is temple of Maa Kali and other Gods, big grounds for sitting or any other activities. But the hospitality of that neighborhood is not that much good, that may be because of the crowd or the hectic behaviour of the visitors. Some visitors knowingly or unknowingly spoil the environment and do some act that is unpleasant for the neighborhood. Though the people are helpful and kind in some ways, that's really appreciable. If anyone reading this review to the last, I am requesting you not to throw any plastic or used things, garbage in this place, please. It's really hurtful to see that area dirty.

Excellent place with natural scenic beauty. You can visit there any time round the year and spend some quality time solo or with loved ones. Here you will find a replica temple of Dakshineswar Kali Mandir, having the idol of Maa kali on the 1st floor and Ramkrishna idol also on the 1st floor but in the attached roof hall. The place embraces its majority of visitors on 1st January every year during "Kalpataru utsav". It's the Ganges river bank in Sahidpally which is known as "Fuchka para".

This place has transformed a lot in couple of years! Wonderful place to visit in evening time, specially during this monsoon whether as its gives such a romantic vibes. Must try Panipuri/fuchka when you visit. U will really love this place.

Be it weekends or weekdays, Kanchrapara Kalyani is a very popular place for the residents of Halisahar where the place is more popular for Phuchka which we also know as Phuchka Para. It is a very beautiful place, I will tell everyone that even once, visit this place for a while and the mind will calm down.

Nice place. This ghat was named after Rani Rashmoni. The temple is situated at the bank of the Ganges. Halisahar was the birthplace of Rani Rashmoni. She was a zamindar and philanthropist of the 19th century in Bengal. Rani Rashmoni established the famous Kali temple of Dakshineswar. Devotees can also offer puja here. Bhog is distributed in various occasions. There is a village near the temple popularly known as 'Fuchka Gram' (fuchka means panipuri and gram means village) which is famous for its varieties of delicious fuchkas.

Soothing place for spending time by your own. Prists are also humble. Must visit.
