Rani Durgawati Samadhi (tomb) is a historical site in the district of Jabalpur. It falls on the road from Jabalpur to Bargi dam at a distance of around 15 km. This is the place where Rani Durgawati sacrificed her life fighting against the Mughal king Akbar. After death of her husband, she took charge of the kingdom. At Narai Naala, she faced enemies and finally killed herself when severe Injured. On the other side of road we see the tomb of her son. The place is surrounded with lush green vegetation and has high apeal. Nearby one can enjoy coffee etc in Cafeteria. A nice visit for everyone having pride for nation and love for nature
