Rangniwas Palace Hotel - Hotel in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

Room was really nice and cozy - we got more than what we expected from pictures. Food was also good. Service was really nice - they had let us keep our bags in the waiting room even when we had checked out so that we can roam around till our train time easily. Location - Very convenient, and near to auto stand and City Palace. We could cover more than half of the places via foot. Thank you for making our stay pleasant! :)

We took 2 rooms, but on their side it was showing 1 room only. So after standing out in cold for over 20 min and requesting again and again we got 2 rooms. After that the flush was not working in one room. So after trying for 15 min they said it cannot be fixed today and will be done the next day. Now how can one stay in a room where a flush doesn't work, how can the hotel staff even think of expecting the customer to stay in such room. So 20 min and after lot of requesting and discussion from my side another room was provided. We were travelling the whole day and reached the hotel at 8 in the evening and the next 1 hour wasted in sorting the issue. So not a good experience. The staff behaviour and service should improve.

We had the most wonderful stay of 4-5 days at Rangniwas. The owners were so cordial and professional. The property is well maintained and has a very calm vibe. It's a very beautiful property. There are orange trees, marigolds and roses all over the property. The tiny pool is very well maintained as well. There were 3 adorable daschunds and the most gorgeous Persian cat, we loved them so much that we miss them now! The staff are very helpful and the food and vibe at the restaurant is amazing. The owner gave us a free upgrade to our room as well, which had 2 balconies facing the garden. The bathroom and shower facilities on the ground floor rooms are quite modern but on the first floor it could have been similar, but nothing to complain about as such. There are also packs of monkeys that like to come and visit the property for its fruit trees, they cause no harm and are often chased away by the loyal doggos. Lots of parrots are found all over the property as well, it makes for a very wonderful sight while lounging around. The location of the property is a big plus, it is at a walkable distance from the city palace, the lake pichola sunset point, karni mata cable car , the car museum and there are plenty of roadside eateries that serve a hearty breakfast for 20-30 rupees. Definitely recommend, 10/10!

I recently stayed at the Rangniwas Palace hotel in Udaipur and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the accommodations and the level of service provided. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by the friendly staff who were quick to check me in and provide me with all the necessary information about the hotel and its amenities. My room was clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable furnishings and modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, heater and geyser. One of the standout features of the Rangniwas Palace hotel is its location. It is situated in a quiet and peaceful area, yet is just a short walk from the city's main attractions, including the beautiful Lake Pichola and the City Palace. The hotel also has a great restaurant on site, which serves a variety of delicious dishes. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a wide selection of food. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Rangniwas Palace hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Udaipur. The staff were friendly and attentive, the facilities were excellent, and the location was perfect.

Pros- The room was spacious and old style Haveli, with decent amenities such as Towels, electric kettle, and ultra dim lights. Washroom had a leaking health faucet, but everything was functional. Location of the hotel is good as well. Walking distance from city palace. Cons- Wi-Fi was not functional. Despite multiple requests for a solution, the caretaker told us nothing can be done for two days as owner is not here to reset the password. He didn't even agree on calling the owner for support. Moreover, during an electricity cut, the generator was turned on only after 6hrs - that too after repeatedly asking for it for four times!

Resort is in the heart of the city, walkable from city palace, Enjoyed the stay, humble and friendly staff, tasty food served with smile. Haveli is old, maintenance is great. Toilet is clean and tidy, Enjoyed sitting in the balcony. Strongly recommend to the visitors to enjoy royal stay at Udaipur.

This is an nineteenth century heritage property and they have retained the ambiance with the subsequent additions also. It's really a nice property. Very friendly staff. Have a small eating place adjacent to the lawn and serve homely food. Place is little off from lake and unfortunately roads are all dug out. Overall a very nice stay.

Full marks for hospitality. Place is an old abode being used as a hotel. The food is better than half the restaurants in Udaipur. A very personal touch in all aspects. The property has a small swimming pool, a clean lawn and to add to the experience are 2 lovely dogs and a cat. All in all, this place is perfect for a laid back holiday. P.S The room we stayed was a bit small but you can always opt for other options.
