Avoid this place at all costs for a massage!! We didn't stay at the resort but we did stop for a massage and it was truly disgusting. The floor weren't clean, the bed was sticky from a previous use and the steam bath looked like it has never been cleansed at all. It was a truly awful experience with an incredibly arrogant manager. Whatever you do avoid this place !!!
It's my first time in Kerala and my first time to try the Ayurvedic massage. Staff were very helpful in letting me choose the type of massage I wanted. My therapist Binitha was amazing. Super friendly, well experienced and very graceful. I was a bit hesitant with the Ayurvedic massage but he made me feel comfortable and told me about the advantages of the massage. I would recommend binitha anytime any day. Would go back within a heartbeat.
Summary: If you're visiting this place for an ayurvedic massage, please DON'T! This is how I'd describe the experience - dirty, overpriced, non-communicative, shady, unsafe and disgusting. Please go elsewhere. Disclaimer: We were here only for an ayurvedic massage and did not stay in any of the rooms. So this review also speaks only for the massages. The manager/owner of this place is a sleek salesman showering you with untrue stories. Do not believe him. Noone explains to you what the process is and noone cares about your comfort and wellbeing. The masseur leaves the room multiple times without ANY explanation especially when your eyes are closed - very suspicious behaviour! My partner also experienced the same behaviour with her masseuse. The massage rooms are dirty and the ambience is bad. The beds are worn out, uncomfortable and disgusting. The floors and bed were already sticky and gross even before the massage began. They use a pressure cooker to fill the steam chamber in a highly unsafe manner. I witnessed them clean the beds while I sat in the steam chamber and waited - the process of cleaning the bed took not more than 2 minutes. Everything about the massage room made me feel disgusted. The masseurs themselves are kind and probably do what they know with what they've been given. The management is clearly to be blamed here. If you're coming here upon a 3rd person's recommendation, believe that you're being led into a poor rated massage parlour. It is likely this person is getting a commission out of it.
It was lovely stay,room was so big and comfortable ..taken kerala Ayurveda massage, done by Maya..she was so excellent and thorough professional, she knew what she was doing and was explaining as well.. Enjoyed my stay..only thing the place does not have restaurant, so we had to go out for dinner..
Had a very pleasant experience here at the centre. Adheesh was superb with the massage and they give you a complete relaxation during the whole massage.
Glad that I visited this place on my visit to Thekkady. Service provided was more than the expected. Ratheesh service was much appreciable. He is able to communicate in Hindi and English and was friendly through out. His service can be recommended to others.
