Ranganna Military Hotel - Restaurant in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

Please don't go to this hotel if you look at Instagram and YouTube, We are very upset that we went to this hotel after looking at similar Instagram and YouTube videos, Not doing proper service and not keeping good quality staff, They serve it on a plate like they do in a good local restaurant, there is not even a spoon to put the gravy ,Gravy is put inside the plate, if you ask for extra on the side, they put it inside, there is not even a spone to put it. We took mutton chops and chicken fry but the mutton chops were raw and not cooked properly, There was a lot of dust on the table and even a glass and tissue paper were not kept on the table and they behaved very cheaply. Customers have to decide whether to buy bottled water or glass of water, they don't keep class water on the table, they serve bottled water directly. There was not even a single tissue paper, if we ask for tissue paper, at the end the server will give us a bundle of director to pick it up. There is not a Banana leaf or a good plate here, Stops here pick up non-veg meals like dosas are arranged at Vidyarthi Bhavan. The taste of the food is not good at all, the quality of the stops is not good, the ambience is also not good, for that price you can eat very happily in another hotel. Please don't trust someone who gave a good review on instagram or youtube, you will be very disappointed later.

We tried Dosa, Kal soup, chicken fry, and mutton biryani. Taste-wise, all were just okay, but the chicken fry was good. When it comes to the service, it was very poor. They didn't even serve it properly and wasted 30 minutes of our time for just one plain rice. Literally, the service was very poor.I've gone through other reviews as well all are saying same service is poor .

Quantity is very less and not worth the price at all. Had mutton biryani and mutton chops and the quantity of both was less. The taste was preety good not amazing but good. The price is not worth the quantity at all.

Mutton items are good. I always eat my favourite combo Mutton fry and Ragi Mudde here.

I really like this hotel because their service was really quick. The food tastes amazing too. There's no better non-vegetarian restaurant than this decade old hotel. The place is not too crowded, well maintained and hygienic. The washrooms could be cleaner, but the good food compensated for the atmosphere. They offer good service and prices are affordable. Overall a good experience!

Decided to meet a couple of school friends over a plate of biryani. Zeroed in on this place. We had order Keema gojju , Biriyani , Mutton chops, chicken fry, Ragi mudde & paratha. Even after explaining the order 3 times the waiter who was really absentminded brought other items. The mutton chops was semi hot. Keema gojju was spicy but good. Briyani was okay as compared to other military hotel food. While i specifically asked for paratha, the waiter was continuously bring roti to us while serving others paratha. Experience was okaish thanks to the server.

Famous for Non veg... Typical military style taste... Some people may not like Curry taste... Parota is famous in this hotel... Its very old hotel... Separate family section is also there... Recommended to visit

Most of the reviews are from years before when food was good. Now everything is bad. Please avoid. Prices are just insane for the quality and quantity. The biryani is max 150rs but they charhe 280rs.
