Ordered Rumali Roti, Pressure Cooker Chicken Curry & Mushroom Matar Masala from Zomato. Awesome test with good quantity.
Foods are good but service is very slow, decoration is nice but overall atmosphere needs to be better, AC were not working, they keep the kitchen open so the smell and smoke was in restaurant, Jeera rice and peas pulao both are not good, chicken items are good
Pathetic service received from Rang de Basanti dhaba. Don't make a try at lunch time on working days because of it's location near college more,Saltlake a huge rush of IT people and nearby college student's. We have to wait for nearly an hour to get our food. We have ordered chicken Tikka, Handi mutton and Plain rice. First we served Rice & Mutton!!! When we asked for chicken Tikka the service boy replied it will take some more time!!!!! Don't recommend this restaurant who has time constraints. Food is also overpriced. One litre Kinley priced at Rs55 here plus taxes and 2% service charges which they takes for their Pathetic services!!!!
Well ambience matters so as the food too but unfortunately RDBD has not satisfied our taste buds significantly at very first time after lots of good reviews here comes our review about the mutton and chicken biryani , biryani seems to be not like biryani rather its like fried rice mixed with chicken or mutton pieces although after been waiting for 25 minutes they serve the food is that so fast I don't even think so , but it's okay it can be managed by the quality of food but frankly wasn't satisfied with it.
Ordered Dahi kabab - worse Dry chilli paneer - too much salt In main course ordered Delhi ki paneer makhani - again disappointment Badnam mix veg - average Then ordered roasted papad that was good and finally the chilly paneer and Veg Pulao.. Thats why i gave 3 stars otherwise it is one star..
Food was below average according to the price point. The ambience and services were good. But quantity and quality wasn't worth the high price it charged.
Great place to have dhaba style food. Chicken tandoori was very good, spicy and juicy. Rumali roti was not that great. Chicken handi was good. Parking is a big issue. Road sides are available and on a busy day hard to find a good spot.
Lip smacking food! We ordered naan and butter paneer and it was so good. Not sure about the goli soda tho although you can try once. Tip: have cold drinks(in glass bottle) outside the restaurant, if you want it for cheap.
