Ramshehar Fort Resort - Resort hotel in Nalagarh - Solan, India

Very much overrated. Rooms have dim light , no heater , no microwave, over expensive food, zero service. Got really disappointed . What they have shown in google pics is totally different in reality . We have paid 25000. I would never ever recommend this .

This place is at a good location and is soothing. But everything is undone by how rudely they behave with customers. They keep pressurizing to buy a ticket and take the fort tour of you are roaming around in open area. Food is also not great. So they will keep asking you to buy a costly ticket to take a tour which is not worth it. When they failed to make us take the tour the staff was so rude and uncouth that they started saying that your time limit to roam around is up. Either buy the ticket or leave. It is really short sightedess at its worst. If they had been polite, we might have bought the ticket and might have asked others to go visit this unexplored location but now we don't think it is worth visiting.

Fort is private property, located in Ramshehr in Himachal. It takes appx 2 hrs from Chandigarh to reach this property. and entry for visiters is paid, (350/- per head approx). The fort tour is given by guides, and it takes less than an hour to visit the fort, during the visit,the guides intimate the history of the place and people involved, while showcasing various portions of the fort. The fort, which is now a hotel, has rooms for stay, a conference room, a swimming pool(wasnt functional while we visited), a gym and a banquet hall with a resturaunt. The resturaunt has a variety of menu. Pricing of services as far as entry and rooms is concerned is slightly on the higher side, however rates displayed at the resturaunt are reasonable. Quality of food could not be checked as the resturaunt appeared to be understaffed and it took a lot of time for placing orders. The staff at this property were working in thier own attire, and not in an issued uniform.

I big NO to this property. The management here is so rude and arrogant. They take advance payments from the clients and then there's only denial from them. After sending them screenshots of the payments and they are accepting it in the screenshot aswell. A big disgrace to the property and guests who wish to come there thinking they would get good hospitality. Thumbs down to the property

Beautiful place for Fort lovers rest not in budget for normal people

Please beware very bogus hotel too much price for accommodation as well as person harassment please do not book this hotel staff are very rude and misbehave with us never book this hotel and recommend to any one.

Beautiful surroundings and a magnificent fort with a rich history and commendable stories of it's restoration. The staff is courteous and efficient. Have made many memorable trips to this Out of the World Heritage site!
